i had a gym induction last night gym was packed and felt very scared :shock: still - planning on going twice a week + footy twice a week + tennis & golf in summer + skiing holiday = FIT Hicksy :D ;)

I read an interesting post over on the Coldplay board with regards to their live performances being too planned and pre-fabricated. While I thought this was a bit harsh due to the fact that they one have two albums and are still (although its easy to forget) a young band. Having said that it did get me thinking that perhaps they should be a little more impromptu in their gigs and mix in a few old b-sides although they already adlib covers which is great :) Since I'll be seeing them for the first time in March (as a headliner), I can't wait to see whether the gig does feel very measured or more organic. how do you guys feel about it? 8)

while i think the production values of the video are superb and i love the colour and atmosphere of the vid, i hate to say it but i was actually a little disappointed. If you take it in the context of their 3 new album vids, this is a second vid that is based on a "mimic performance", even if it is live ratehr than staged like In My Place. I just thought that it is a little plain. :sad: having said that it still rawks :D
