I hate how some journalists just lack integrity. I said that i wasn't blaming anyone but God damn, it did seem like he was trying to stir up controversy. This just sucks because I want to be a journalist. *ducks and runs for cover*

The guy seemed kind of stand-offish. :confused: And like he wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. I'm not placing the blame on anyone right now, but both Chris and the interviewer didn't seem to be into it.

I see what your saying, Difficult_Kind. Chris is probably just stressed out because their album drops today. :freak: And it must be frustrating that the interviewer seemed to miss the point of the album. It's not as morbid as the title suggests. :dozey:

They basically wanted to keep the album short and have people get more bang for your buck, basically. I actually don't see why they stuck CSC after Yes but I'm not complaining.

4. Parachutes (8/10) 3. X&Y (8/10) 2. AROBTTH (9/10) 1. VLV (9/10) This could change, i don't know. Maybe it's the newness of the album and that it's been a loooong three years. :sweatdrop: But VLV is my favorite, it's beautiful and different and almost what i had expected.

Brand new albums are about $20 but after a couple of weeks the prices drop. And it also depends on the musician's popularity. Coldplay's last three albums are still $13-$15 while and indie album can drop to $5.

I know that when you record you like to mix things up and try a new formula. Are their certain things about your style that you always want to stay the same? It's very catchy. Good song to dance to at parties. People will dance to Lil Wayne and not Coldplay :P but in the end it's who has more quality work.

That was bizarre. :confused: I don't really think the interviewer was really into this and Chris picked up on that.

Sometimes I feel that I force myself to like Coldplay too, but really, why would I WANT to like a band that most of my friends dislike? And no album [Coldplay or not] has blown me away after the first listen. I don't know why I give Coldplay second chances :P but I'm glad I do. When I first pop in a CD I'm not actually focusing all of my energy on listening to it [i usually just skip to the singles], and I pick out songs that catch my attention in the first few seconds. After you listen to an album more than once you're able to dissect it and pick it apart and say 'ok, I like this song, I don't like this song.' And I think the reason why I give Coldplay 'second chances' is because their singles [for the most part] are mind-blowing and I expect their whole album to be the same. And I am happy to say that this is true, at least for me. :nice: But everyone's different. I make no sense, I know. :P

Yeah, VLV is #1 on iTunes^ But it also says that Tha Carter III is #1 I like Lollipop. :uhoh: It's a good song to dance to, but of course I'm rooting for VLV. I'm not worried because Coldplay will do fantastic.

Rap albums actually aren't doing as well as they used to [i did a report on this :P] so I don't see how Tha Carter III will stop VLV from reaching the #1 slot. And the only reason Kanye West is throwing all of his support for this album is because he's on the Lollipop remix! :angry:
