  1. death and all his drugs. death and all his...
  2. Same. And Cemeteries of London as well. The whole album is like playing on a loop in my head. And Yes comes up a LOT. haha
  3. All righty. School play: I'm the one decked out in green. I was the bullfrog. A friend and me in the limo for prom! Homecoming! ["I'm coming home again, do you think about me now and then? Do you think about me now and theeeen?!" :P]
  4. CUTE! :nice: Hey, I see your iPod Touch! Me too, that's my baby! Hmm, I have to round up some good pictures, I haven't posted on here in a while...
  5. I thought this a thread about different sleeping positions; the title is a little morbid. :uhoh2: I sleep on my side facing the wall, if you wanted to know.
  6. pineapple, because they look harsh, but they're actually really sweet on the inside. :nice:
  7. Or they could make the MM section for members only? but that could open up a whole new can of worms. I also lurked around here for some time, and I thought that this place was great and everyone seemed friendly and just as crazy in love with Coldplay as I am. :cheesy: I remember this place being PACKED when I used to lurk.
  8. I had a dream that my friend came over and spent the night, and I think we were listening to Coldplay. :p Then I had another dream where a friend of mine had leukemia and his mother ws begging me and my other friends to date him because it was his last request. That's what I get for studying biology right before bed. :laugh3:
  9. I kind of wish I waited now. It's not that it's a bad album, I liked the excitment and anticipation, now I have nothing to look foward to for a while, they're not coming to Va any time soon. Plus I have to feign surprise when my friend and I have a listening party/movie/guitar hero marathon on the 17th. :laugh3:
  10. No. :freak: Just no, I don't think so, but that's my opinion. VLV was definitely a group effort, they seem more of a foursome on this album. I think it's more like: Parachutes: Coldplay AROBTTH: Chris Martin with background noise X&Y: Just Chris Martin VLVODAAHF: Coldplay
  11. Their next album? :uhoh:
  12. I don't know if you're joking or serious. You could have other things to wait for, like their concerts, seeing them on tv, etc. And your life doesn't have to revolve around Coldplay in order to keep you living, you could be excited and anticipate other things too; spending time with your friends and family, holidays, nice weather, etc. :nice:
  13. I'm going to go deaf listening to this song on full blast on my computer with my earphones. :P I would try out this playing it really loud method but it's 11pm here. First thing tomorrow though. :wink3:
  14. Fuck EMI. :dozey: Putting all this pressure on their albums, it's annoying and it's seems like it sucks the fun out of it for them.
  15. I agree. His work in VLVOD is good too though. :) But you could actually hear him a loooot more in X&Y. And parachutes! High Speed, come ooooon. :D
  16. Thanks! Hehe, I can gush about that song for hours. :P I don't understand how the stereogum review called the last half of the song dull?!
  17. Thank you! They called the last half of Strawberry Swing dull?! Can you tell by my sig/avi that I'm not pleased? :P Hahaha, but it's a good review overall.
  18. I voted for will. But they're all stars to me. :nice:
  19. I got all excited. :freak: *sigh*
  20. It's makes me want to throw on cowboy boots and a prarie skirt and run out in the fields behind my house. I don't know why.
  21. Sounded like "a bit fucked" to me too. I thought it was Guy. But I guess it's "bit flat" Wonder what they were talking about....
  22. He's got some issues. :laugh3: They have speed of sound on some random karaoke game, and i have to say, i kick all of my friends' asses on it. :smug: But i couldn't bear someone fucking up their songs.
  23. It's kind of nice to NOT hear him sometimes. That sounds mean, but there's a complement in there somewhere. :P I don't know, he's usually the only thing you hear on tv shows (MTV awards :dozey:) and it's nice that on CSC and LiT that you can barely hear him or he's not there. It reminds me that he's not the only member. I like it.
  24. Your review is perfect, Chelsea! :cheesy: And it's also very thorough. Good job. Ok. I'm going to rate each song, and make one comment on it, because I can't sit here all day. (And I call myself a Coldplay fanatic. :P) Life in Technicolor- 8/10: Not a big fan of instrumentals, but this is beautiful! Chris' voice would have made it too pop. Cemeteries of London- 9/10: Like Chelsea, I didn't get it at first either, but after the 5th listen I was hooked! Also, there was a terrible thunderstorm here the other night and I was listening to it, and I actually got scared. :uhoh: Powerful song. Lost!- 8/10: It has a hip hop vibe to it and I like it. The guitar in it is gorgeous, I didn't think the acoustic version (7/10) did this song enough justice. 42- 7/10: I don't like the first part, but once it gets going, it's gets going!! I love the part "you thought you might be a ghost! You didn't get to heaven but you made it close!" But I do like how it comes full circle at the end. Lovers in Japan- 9/10 (acoustic: 10/10): It is so hard to choose between the two versions, but the acoustic has a little more "umph." :P But this a GOORRRRGEOUS song, this and strawberry swing makes me feel in love, and i have no one. :P Reign of Love- 6/10: Very bland for me. Yes- 8/10: Coldplay suprised me with this one, especially the lyrics ("turns you on??!" :freak:) But it's sexy and fiesty and exactly what I expected. Not my favorite though. Chinese Sleep Chant- 8/10: Would get a higher score if I could hear what Chris was saying. It's still pretty. Viva La Vida- 10/10: BEAUTIFUL. The end. Violet Hill- 9/10: Definitely a grower. The first time I heard it, I was getting ready for school, and I was thinking 'when is Coldplay's new song going to come on?!' and this was it. I thought they were joking about the whole 'new direction' business. Strawberry Swing- 10/10: POTENTIAL WEDDING SONG! :cheesy: Oh my God, the guitar riffs are beautiful. The whole song is just perfect. This and LiJ make me want to find the love of my life and get married right this second, :nice: and I'm only 17. Death and All His Friends-9/10: Love, love, LOVE the Coldplay chorus towards the end. Love the lyrics. Love everything. The Escapist- 10/10: Album seems to end on a somber note, but I'm glad this is the last song. The lyrics are haunting and touching. Just lovely. Overall I am very pleased with the album. Worth the three year wait. I am very impressed with Will's drumming and how Chris seems to be testing his vocal boundaries. :nice: Guy and Will put a lot of rhythm into this record and Jonny! Oh, Jonny. :nice: The guitar riffs are euphoric.
