the number is 1-800-321-9755 usually, it's on the half hour. the way you can predict it is they'll go to commercial break and play the commercial about the Coldplay fan appreciation show (it'll start with something like "the WPLJ coldplay countdown begins. in just 4 days, coldplay releases their new album blah blah blah" or something along those lines). when they come back from commercial break, they play a song, and then immediately after that ask you to call. there's no telling what tickets they're asking you to call for though, just start dialing once the songs over just in case :P they're also doing the texting thing again this weekend. text "Coldplay" to 68683 as many times as you want. deadline is sunday at midnight, and they choose a winner on monday. anyway, good luck! it might be lessening my chances to win by doing all of this, but as long as real coldplay fans win i don't mind :) EDIT: DON'T rely on the online broadcast; it's delayed a good minute or 2, so you'll never get it

i got so close today... they needed caller 25 and i was 18. i got so frustrated i acutally cried... which is silly now that i think of it, but i guess thats just how bad i want to go. i think it's because its a fan appreciation show, i guess i want to be a part of that because im such a big fan. siiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhh

THAT made me so angry!!!

that was hard to listen to... i think both the interviewer and chris are wrong in the situation. the interviewer obviously didn't lsiten to the labum very well and just took things he heard from other people and tried to make chris say certain things. he wasnt letting chris speak at all, his questions were so one sided and it was like he was answering them for himself. on the other hand, chris didn't have to take it that personally. he did overreact a little bit i think but i guess that's just how chris. hes very passionate about the things he writes, which makes his music so wonderful to begin with. i think he could've handled it better, but i guess when youre under that kind of pressure you don't have time to think things through before reacting. gotta give kudos to Will though, he really pulled through for chris. he was able to stay calm and be a little more explanitory (lol is that a word? you know what i mean) to the interviewer

i wish i'd got into them in time for their rush of blood tour, it looked so great (on the dvd anyway). it was only during that that i started listening to them :(

i dont think anyones justifying the price for the length of the show, its just the way the business is run. we can't do anything about it, you either go if you think its worth it, or don't if you don't i'm one of the crazy ones staying up all night in new york to see them perform probably 5-10 songs for the today show, so i obviously think anything is worth seeing them play lol

i don't think it's fair to assume that just because you don't like the album, that no one else should. everyone has a different taste and different expectations. VLV is absolutely my favorite album, before that it was Parachutes, then AROBTTH. i love X&Y too but not as much. it's just an opinion, no one is right or wrong. i agree with you though, if you have to force yourself to listen to something until you convince yourself you like it, it isn't genuine (and honestly, isn't very fair to you or to Coldplay). but that didn't happen to everyone. i fell in love with the the first time i listened to it, and i love it more and more everytime i do. and i don't replay it because i want to try to love it more, i just want to listen to it because i don't get tired of it (yet, lol)

4. X&Y - 8.9 3. AROBTTH - 9.5 2. Parachutes - 9.7 1. VLVODAAHF - 10 this is hard to decide because i love all the albums for different reasons, and comparing them to each other is impossible because they're just COMPLETELY different works... but i did the best i could :)

i see where you're coming from, it can be frustrating if you really feel you've been jipped. but the band isn't the one putting a price on their tickets so you can't really blame it on them
