well, for the next album, check out the other thread (called: new album). As for better or worse: As TracieMorgan said before, each album is gonna attract or repel fans, but it is also extremely hard to judge a band after three albums (no matter how incredibly good they are...hehe:smug:). But if you don't like X&Y, or you prefer it to Parachutes, then that's good. It means that a part of Coldplay attracts you, and that will probably come out again in a future album. Also, you'll probably find that if you listen to some of the Coldplay songs that you feel are pretty average, after a while, they'll grow on you...and we're all happy. I dunno, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but again, try not to judge Coldplay just yet - maybe wait another 20 odd years (isn't that what Chris said???)

Ooo....can't wait....I hope we don't have to wait as long as we did for X&Y....but Chris does need some home/family time (infact - they all do) and they probably want a break of touring...cos, if they release an album, they gotta tour for it fairly soon after it's release...otherwise not as many people would go to their shows. But I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. We need to start getting articles and stuff in here now...so we can hear more news of it...and get proof of what is to come... I've read a really good article of Chris talking about the next album...oo, gives me goosebumbs when I think of how good it'll be...."the best ever"...."better than the Beatles".....o joy...... Coldplay, you better not dissappoint....but we all know they won't. - (I'd post a link for the article, but I can't remember where it was from)...:)

Yeh, at the Adelaide show, when Chris ran around the back in 'In My Place', I was at the very front...and I was yelling at Guy (as he is cool)...and he looked at me, and I gave him the peace sign...(kinda corny now I think of it, but I couldn't think of a better way to get across to him that I thought he was cool). Nehu, he acknowledged me and nodded and smiled at me... It was the best

Hey all, I've got this song by Coldplay...and I've searched for what it is...but I can't find it... It is by Coldplay, I'm sure of that. But here are some of the lyrics "..who do I sing for, well honey, I sing about yoooouuuuu..." It's got a classical guitar feel, very floaty...it's a nice song, but if someone can tell me what it is called, when it was made (I know it was some time between 1999-2001) and whether it was officially released ('cos I didn't see it in any of the singles' b-sides/Eps or anything).
