The Bakery
Haha, fair enough :P Good news about having a good internal compass though... could come in useful if we end up in northern ireland :dozey: I'll come with you though, for sure! There's no way I would want to miss it :nice:

YES
Umm, I have tried, but I'm afraid it doesn't work with these interview clips . I think Big Fat Noises was the one who ripped LIJ in the first place, and he said it was only possible because the show had a 5.1 surround sound output, with the song only being played on the rear speakers. Since these interviews are only in stereo, I don't think its possible. Sorry I can't be of much help!

The NME verdict on Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends -
Ahhh, I thought it was up already for a second there! Never mind, I'm hoping someone can upload some scans sometime tomorrow, if they can! Not sure it'll be that easy though, we'll see.

I think you might know London better than I do! :stunned: Not good :P But... I would be up for exploring that area for a day. That's if I don't turn out to be an annoying sod on the first day, of course :P And judging by your knowledge on the subject, I think you'll be giving ME the tour, and not the other way around!

The Eating Pancakes at not breakfast club
Haha, pancakes for dinner? Oh man. Reminds me of the times when I used to have breakfast cereal as a midnight meal . I still do that occasionally, actually. But pancakes ROCK. I havn't had them in ages though. Not sure if I can actually make one myself :dozey:

The Food Thread! (what's on your mind today?)
Pringles anyone? That thread died quite a while back. The last thing I drunk was some apple juice (I think) and I made myself a cheese sandwich. So nothing too exciting I'm afraid.

The Bakery
Haha, well I'll see what I can dig out of my garage :sneaky: But if it is located near Abbey Road, well... I think some snooping around is in order :P Wouldn't it be great though if we were actually the first ones to find it? Doubt anyone else has, and I also doubt that anyone is rabidly obsessed enough to actually bother looking for it. Hmm, I need to stop fantasising about these things, I'm starting to worry myself

The Bakery
:laugh3: Its most likely to be brick, yeah. I think the trick would be to look for any extra security on the windows or the doors, that wouldn't be there otherwise. Pfff, but what do I know. But if there's a burly security guard standing in front of an average looking building in a backstreet alley, I would have quite a lot of reason to be suspicious :P

Anyone up for taking a day off and trekking up to london in search for this place? Bring a camera! (and a crowbar :sneaky:)

Ah, you have the same one? Cool! :D Oh yes, Bowie, Kiss, Boy George also. I don't want to be adding Coldplay to that list, thank you. As someone said, it all seems to be sounding like a circus of somekind, with talk of these gymnasts and everything. A bit of a parade. A Black Parade... oh god. :laugh3:

Oh yes, that make-up thing on the billboard cover gave me a little bit of a fright today, and I'm hoping it's just a one off. Hoping and praying. Because I also would be disappointed in them going down that route. For me, it would be like the band that I knew in 2004/2005 had died, and that would be quite saddening for me. They don't need to do this stuff. I honestly had never imagined that Coldplay, of all bands, would start wearing make-up of any kind until today. Its just not THEM. And its also too Panic In The Disco, which is really what this whole dressing up thing reminds me of a little bit. So, in short my request is, take off the bruise Chris, put down the magnifying glass, and go and find that Rolling Stones t-shirt that you wore 8 years ago in the Shiver video. :P

Coldplay on Virgin Radio UK June9th 2008
^Hahaha, well I was only half-kidding really anyway chelsea :P It would really be strange having them know what we've written about them, especially on some of those stories. They might lose all faith in the sanity of their fans! :laugh1: And they'd probably get paranoid about the fact that we might think they're actually like that, you're right. But still, in a fantasy world, it would be funny to see :P And I know I was asking way too much, and a coldplaying.com mention from the guys themselves is more than i could ever hope for, but its fun to throw these thoughts around. Although it would be fantastic if that happens, even if it doesn't, that mention today was awesome enough. Anyway, we'll see what happens

Wallpaper of screen shots of iTunes commercial?
^Hey, no problem! :nice:

Coldplay on Virgin Radio UK June9th 2008
That MUST happen. We must convince Ben to do that for us, and hopefully he seems nice enough to do so! I hope they won't be restricted to a strict time frame in which they're allowed to be interviewed, so they can muck around for a bit. Maybe even DISCUSS CPing.com on air, while sitting in front of one of those computer screens. That would be a dream come true! And man, who's up for sending Ben our "Coldplay in the studio" fictional stories? MAYBE he could read extracts of them to Chris and Jonny and have a laugh about them! :stunned: I'm really getting over excited here, but seriously. The possibilities are endless if we're allowed to ask him a favour.

^Very well said, and I agree with you on all points.

cemetaries of london song?
Haha, its definitely fake. No lyrics, no vocals. There's a fake version of LIT from the same user as well I think.
-
The hardest part trans. please
Translate? Edit: Oh, I think the REM mention was referring to the way the song sounds as a whole. And If you listen to a song like Man On The Moon, and then the Hardest Part, you can really hear the similarities musically (perhaps not lyrically) between the songs. Just my opinion.

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
It really does sound perfect, even if it had nothing to do with coldplay, it still would have been cool i reckon :nice: Ah, if only the recurring dreams that I have were Coldplay ones... unfortunately they usually involve earthquakes and other terrifying natural disasters :dozey:

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
^That is truly the best dream EVER, Melanie :D Especially that second part, that sounds absolutely perfect. Wow :nice:

I second that request, that would probably be one of the best coldplay related things ever! I'll definitely be watching them on that webcam too... how exciting!

I don't think I could disagree more, but still, each to their own. Just look at Radiohead nowadays - I don't see any fancy get ups there, and I guess they're even bigger than Coldplay to a certain extent. Thom Yorke wears pretty "ordinary" clothes on and off the stage. You don't need a dress code to be "big", in my opinion. And I don't see why people should feel that how they dress should somehow match their status as a band and the quality of their music. Taking your quote about a band saying "you shouldn't care what we look like, it's all about the music"... well actually, unless they look like tramps, I don't see why it should matter. But as long as the guys are fine with dressing the way they are now, I'm all for it - like i said, I think the outfits themselves are pretty cool. I just wouldn't mind a return to the Parachutes & AROBTTH era mindset, of "image isn't everything". The music should really speak for itself.

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
Haha, I just found one of my dreams from a year ago (12th May 2007), when we were all fretting over when the new Coldplay site would be put up: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39215&highlight=dream Mine's the third one down. Funny that you had a Coldplay related dream on the same day chelsea, how strange. It seems that really none of those things turned out to be true. A one word title? Huh!

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
^^Haha, thats so cool! :nice: I love the fact that Apple and Moses were there too, thats just too awesome! Its probably one of the tamer dreams I've heard about, but I like the fact that this could actually HAPPEN someday, in the future. Unlikely maybe, but more likely than talking to Chris face to face about his favourite songs over lunch :P I havn't had many Coldplay related dreams recently, but I will post here if I remember any, for sure. :D

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEE*!!!
^ I certainly wont be holding back when that happens! :P And yes! Roll on "The Hour" Coldplay interview!

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEE*!!!
 I feel like making one of those multicoloured 'squeees' again at some point. Maybe when they announce how they'll be releasing those b-sides!
