"Vous" is more formal. You use it when you talk to someone you don't know or when you're talking to your teacher/chief at school/work. "Tu" is used when you talk with your friends, with your family. It shows a closer relationship than when you use "Vous". Closer, or at least, friendlier. ^Sure!Why not! Well, I dunno where I should start! lol

^^Do you wanna learn? instead of "vous", you can say "tu".
