Personally i agree this whole album has a commercial or soulless feel to it. Also the CD was actually mixed differently. AROBTTH and Parachutes had a simple but clear upfront way of recording. On X&Y its like they got the album done and then put a bunch of reverb on the whole damn thing. Its like your at a stadium. The last ones were more like Chris and the band were playing in front of you right to you. And yes i feel the words on some songs really suck. The album seems to me like it was rushed and that they were probably under way too much pressure or something. The souls gone with this album. Don't get mad but i REALLY dislike Til Kingdom Come. I just cant stand the song. I love Green Eyes and the others but i just don't know...

Even death metal bands use DL-4's. I never said your pedals don't do great. All I'm saying is that the next one on your list should probably be a DL-4.

Congrats! Yea if i were you the next piece of gear id get would be a DL-4. That will make the most difference.

Ive had numerous bands... as i said this is only part of my rig. id say this is only 15 percent of my gear. Im in the process of moving from dallas to maryland.

This is only part of my Coldplay rig because im in the process of moving... As some of you may notice my DD-5 and TU-2 are missing... as well as my second DL-4. I have them over at keeley's getting modded because I couldent part with more than half my rig for 2 weeks lol. The amp is an old Fender Twin that ive had modded a bit so that it has a stereo effects loop. Also im excited because I just baught some 5/8 inch Super bright red ropelight and its supposed to get here today. The board is EXACTLY like Jonny's down to every detail when im done.

Yea thats kind of impossible to "tell" you the pattern. Its something you have to figure out on your own. I can tell you like when and where you do a up or down stroke, but that wont help you out much its more of a rythem you have to find.
