Oh also if you need info on the effects the guys use here it is. Trust me im right i have both their rigs. This will really help ya to get their exact sound. This is from the Live 2003 DVD version. Jonny = DL4 on an echo setting - (very basic just clean echo) Jonny = MXR Micro Amp - (subtle crunch) Jonny = TR-2 Tremelo - (subtle slow wable) Chris = DL4 on digital delay or the like - (subtle delay) - could use any delay pedal ie echopark, dd-6, since its just simple delay. Chris = RV-3 - (a little reverb) - just a tad to livin it up Chris is basicly clean. Just a lil verb and delay here and there. Jonny is basicly got the same just a little crunch and wable. you dont have to use their effects but it helps alot when you have them.

yea i recommend this site. i use jensens because there the best for fenders. basicly it depends on the sound you want. if you want coldplay esq sound buy jensens. if you want a blazing marshall sound buy celestions. http://www.vintagespeaker.com/ oh and i bought 8 P10Q's for my devilles and they are just perfect speakers. it really makes a world of a difference.

band name is terminal and we used to play indie rock for tooth and nail records. and he dosent have to have top notch pedals. jonny uses a phase 90 and a micro amp. those pedals are like 70 bucks. but yes go to samdevos's site he has alot of good info and pics of jonnys gear.

I own everything jonny uses and most of the things chris uses guitar wise so for gods sake i should as hell know how to get their fucking sounds. Take your bashing elsewhere punk. well... i dunno what type of guitar hes got but here it goes Acoustic = Elixers are the best hands down Electric = Ernie Ball Super or Regular Slinky's are the best oh and fyi Jimmy Page used the Super Slinky's and he knows about tone .:wink3: I personally use the Regular Version... only diff is the size Super = 9's Reg = 10's. 10's are the size jonny uses and it just plain makes more sense to use 10's if you play coldplay type stuff.

I have all 4. Parachutes (Guitar version) AROBTTH (guitar version) Live 2003 (Guitar version) and X&Y (Guitar version). Ill try and find time soon to scan what i can and ill post a link here when i do it.

IMO if their next album is more X&Y ish they will lose alot of fans... they need to get back to their roots.
