Why a song like Amsterdam in the middle of a show? lol they pick which songs to go where to create moods... not because they like them.

Are you positive? I dont mean to sound like a prude its just that im about to drop 1600 for two amps I want them to be the right one because the only difference between the 410 and 212 is around 3 inches in height and thats basicly not really preceiveable from a front view.

If they were from the back you could see if the were 2 or 1 speakers that were viewable at the bottom...

The difference is like 3 inches or less in height... im asking which one he uses for sure. Id like some proof and not just someones word if possible.

Yes and chris wrote alot of songs on his own at first like A Message. Also if you look at pictures from the X&Y recording sessions you can clearly see that for most of it they recorded it real time. Which means basicly they got together and played the song flat out and recorded it and then added a bit.

Best for what bass, electric, acoustic? And for what style of music? Best brands in general are Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, Mesa, and I know im frogetting a few. But if someone says Ibanez or the like your a complete moron. Oh and Coldplay uses alot of different ones. For live shows Chris and Jonny both use Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410's and Guy uses Ampeg's.

This song is pure crap IMO. It has horribly weak lyrics. Even worse than Swallowed in the Sea. I mean come on the only reason you could like a song that all the chorus is is him saying "a wisper a wisper a wisper a wisper a wisper..." I mean come the hell on what was Coldplay thinking. They boot out tracks like Harmless and dont finish them so they can toss this crap in? Take Careful Where You Stand and switch it out for A Wisper and you have a million times better album.

Yes and most tuners over 5 bucks have a mode for tuining flats so its really no harder than standard.

Talk Clocks Amsterdam and White Shadows are not played in Eb that I know for sure off the top of my head... Hmmm 7 years and you say you know what your talking about... tell me how in the heck is Eb a pain? Down a half step... very simple. What do you do on songs like A Message or God Put A Smile Upon Your Face?

Yes, but Coldplay is no small band. I think that one of the biggest bands of the current time would be able to make their own decisions for the most part. It would also make sense to the label to do that also if you have a band thats bringing in the biggest chunk of change for you. Im sure that if Coldplay said "Hey! We want to put out a DVD." I dont think anyone would object.

IMO if they dont release a DVD I would probably stop listening to them. There is no excuse when they say they are going to take a year off and then not put out a DVD of which they allready have the footage to do so. I take that as a total "We dont give a crap about our fans." statement from the band.

I will not repeat what I have said. Jonny doesn't switch channels live. He might in the studio but alot of things are different in the studio. On top of that he has no way of possibly switching live because he doesn't have a pair of the foot switches to the DeVilles. Chris does but jonny doesn't. Believe who you will it doesn't matter to me. And also the MXR is called the Micro Amp pre amps are very different. So I'm not sure how reliable your source was.
