he plays for the main part standard tuning e| 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 5 5 5 B| 10 10 10 10 12 12 13 13 5 5 5 and no its deff not a wah lol. like i said its either his DL4 or his TR-2. those are the only ways you can get that sound out of the pedals he has.

personally i liked his martin's from the 2003 tour alot better. much richer tone than gibsons.

all i can say is this game dosent work when most of the people playing have wrong tabs they made up themselves. but game on dudes..

i have his exact rig. its just his DL4 on the Sweep Delay setting. end of it i dont want any noobs posting after me telling me im wrong.

dont ever trust a tab online they are all wrong 99 percent of the time. Buy the dang book like i have and youll see how wrong this are. But yes the guy had it write with the tuning with all the C#'s.

probably not because thats before they got big so they werent tapeing that kind of stuff. The best youd hope for is a fan or member of the bands personal pics that might happen to catch a glimps of his board. I own pretty much all of his effects. I can tell you that if the reason you want to know is you are after his earlir sound the only real difference is that for his distortion he uses his rat the most. Back then he used his Color Sound Tonebender and Big Muff more. Gives you that warmer "yellow" type sound.

There is no way in hell you can even compare the two. They play totally different styles. Jonny is not trying to play Zep style nor was page trying to be cold. Im in a band that has a record deal called Terminal. So basicly im not a weekend warrior. But i do admit i dont know everything. But I do know that jonny is a genius. Its not hard to make up a song that's drasticly complicated. Its ALOT harder to create a song thats simple as hell but still sounds good. Take gravity for example.. only like 5 or 6 chords.. but sounds great. Playing technically awsome is not hard at all IMO. All you have to do is practice and youll get there eventually just like Malmesteen. But IMO he sucks because you cant, no matter how much you practice, develop an ear for what sounds good or dosent work or what sounds really musical. The reason Page is a god is he had both. Jonny has extreme musical sense of what sounds good, but hes not lacking in technical ability either. This comparison is apples and oranges. Basicly what im saying is Technical Ablitiy = Not Hard , Musicianship = Your either born with it or you not.

your tab for square one off the top of my head... the intro is not 10 12 13 yes i know its the same notes but if you try to play it in standard the little fill when he plays around the 17th fret will be messed up. its alot eaiser to just play it right how he does and do the funky tuning and play it 10 12 12. just my 2 cents.

yes you can use the same cable, and no dont use any other strings than ELIXER acoustic. Chris Martin and everyone else with half a brain knows that for acoustic's ELIXER makes the best strings around.

look ok i play guitar alot and i accualty know what im talking about. YES he does play it a lil different live but they play every song different live. his guitar is in standard tuning i know for sure, and alot of the time it is confusing for a non player to find out what hes doing because guitarists dont allways play what they might fret. Trust me in my post thats all hes doing and he just improvises on the first chord. and leeds113 your post is nowhere close to what he plays sorry man i dunno where you got that.

dont get me wrong im not saying this tour sucked but it just lacked the "soul" the last ones had.

<-bend the 11th fret note a half step (or half a full bend) then back to normal as you hit the open E right after it-> A String(next one) ----11-----11----11-----11 low E ( fat string ) 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 youll get the hang of it... i have the tab book so its right.

all i can say to people who havent been to an AROBTTH tour show watch the LIVE 2003 DVD and you will be blown away. The X&Y shows were great dont get me wrong... but before there was just an undescribeable feeling or connection you could call it that just isint there in the X&Y shows. I still think their great but more of a show than more of Coldplay.
