Here's my shot at it: LIT - 8.5 COL - 9.0 Lost! - 9.0 42 - 9.5 LIJ/ROL - 8.5 Yes - 8.5 (Yes is great, but I'm not that keen on CSC, I'd give it a 7) VLV - 9.5 VH - 9.0 SS - 8.5 DAAHF - 9.5 (The Escapist 8.5, though the instrumental is a bit better in my opinion) Which gives the album... 8/10 - but if I'm going to rate is as a whole, then it's definitely 9/10 :D

This is going to be a real adventure... Buying tickets on 5th June, making necessary hotel reservations, buying bus tickets etc. Of course, first I need to persuade my parent to join me, as I can't cross the border by myself :( Oh, and let's not forget a Visa, that's going to be a major pain in the arse...

First I thought it was a bit too "bright", and therefore not as good as Violet Hill, which introduced a darker atmosphere - but I couldn't have been more wrong. The song really is beautiful. The part when Chris sings "For some reason I can't explain / I know Saint Peter won't call my name" in his falsetto is easily the highlight of the song, the moment that made me love it :)

For some strange reason, I wasn't too thrilled about Violet Hill coming out this Tuesday :/ What's more, I went on holiday several hours before its release, and somewhat gave up on hearing it right away. How wrong I was... As soon as I got to an Internet café, I made sure it was OK to download files, and got my hands on Violet Hill. When Chris started singing, it just sent chills down my spine. I don't think hearing any song for the first time has got me so excited :) A beautiful track, well worth the three-year wait :D
