interesting!! I saw a programme on Channel 4 in th UK recently where a bunch of old people were singing various modern songs, by artists like Outkast and Sinnead O' Connor and one old bloke, (he looked pretty ill):( sang "Fix You" (Coldplay). It was quite moving when the backing chorus, (also consisting of pensioners) sang the "tears stream down your face, when you lose something..." main chorus:)
