I actually can't believe that the album hasn't leak. Not even "Violet Hill", due to be released on Tuesday. If the single, that's only one song, hasn't leak, I highly doubt that we will be hearing Viva La Vida before June 16. The band is being very very mysterious about this album - we don't have artwork yet, no webpage, among other things!!! - I think the band plans summarize on what Gwyneth Paltrow said the other day: "The new Coldplay album is brilliant. Don't tell him I told you that. I can't talk about it. He gets furious!" referring to Chris - cheers

Like Magnus said - don't think Viva means "Long" - When people that talk spanish say Viva it actually means "Long Live"... Locust keeps confusing me! Violet Hill sounds like "A Whisper" - that's one of the worst Coldplay songs - or like Chris would say: it's shit! The locust compares the song to Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd??? Call me an idiot if you want but I don't understand! And if you heard the song one time - how can you recall so much details? do you have it on your iPod!!! UPLOAD IT PLEASE!!! cheers

Somethings we know about Violet Hill: This hard-rocking track is about the Violet Hill Bed and Breakfast in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Martin saw it online once and has just always really wanted to go there. (New York Magazine) One of the strongest of the new songs, the band is considering giving it away as a special promotion in coming weeks and then leaving it off the album. Opening with a jagged distorted guitar riff, the song announces a new template: The stalking, bluesy beat fits nicely with Martin's earthy vocals and plaintive lyrics: "If you love me, won't you let me know?" (Rolling Stone)

If you're both a Coldplay and a Lost fan! You will be delighted with track number 3 of the new album (Viva La Vida), 'cause it is an aching piano ballad that chronicles the tumultuous relationship between a pair of lovers (Martin and Paltrow?) as they attempt to catch up with Lost's fourth season by watching DVDs of the first three in marathon sessions. The chorus includes the refrain: "Who are the Others and why can't they breed? / And what will become of Kate, Locke, and Sayid?" Cheers!

VIVA LA VIDA!!! Although spanish is my birth language, i don't like the title too much!! I was excited with the idea of "Famous Old Painters" - It sounded more Coldplay!!! However, read carefully what Chris said to Rolling Stone: “I’ve been through this before, naming something or someone and everyone saying that ‘That’s a terrible name’. But then saying, ‘Well, fuck you, that’s what it’s called, and I’ll be proved to be right eventually’. Let's trust the band guys!!! I'm sure the album will be awesome!!!:D
