  1. Hi Jen, Hi everyone. Happy new Year!! I thought I would post a few pics from each of the gigs I've been to since I've been following Coldplay for almost a decade now so it's a bit of a milestone for me. I first fell in love with them when I saw the Yellow video on the TV in 2000 but didn't get to see them until June 2002 when they came and played at a tiny venue only holding around 500 people just 25 minutes away from where I live. It was amazing and when I first heard them live, especially Yellow and Politik I was hooked, especially on Chris! :) I was going through a terrible time at home then and it really helped haha ;) I can only find one picture and report from this gig on the whole web!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/cornwall/entertainment/music/features/coldplay.shtml Then I had to wait almost a whole year until I saw them again, this time in London at Earl's Court which was slightly bigger than Truro! April 2003 Then it was ages until I saw the boys again...over two whole years! Again in London this time at the Crystal Palace Athletics stadium which was a terrible place to get to and from and I had so many traumas on that trip but it was worth it! This was the tour with the famous swinging lightbulb which was fun!! Then we had an even longer wait until Viva La Vida came out and I couldn't wait until the UK leg of the tour to see it so dragged my friend along to Paris in September 2008 to see both dates... It was so exciting to see it all brand new! 9th September Then again the next night!! When I got home I decided I had to go to London after all but only got crappy tickets and the friend I was going with was ill so I ended up going with her son, but at least I was there! I had already bought my Wembley tickets at this point and couldn't wait a whole year to see them again! O2 arena 16th december 2008 Well just two months later I was in the unbelievable position of being able to go to the Warchild gig in London on February 18th. It was literally decided a few days before the gig (thanks Kirsten ) I'm sure you know all about this gig and how a few of us met Chris after, it was a dream come true! It was also my chance to meet with lots of the Coldplayers from the forum and make some dear friends. After I met Anna at this gig we spent hours chatting online about Chris and doing lots of research online for missing interviews, radio shows etc and then she very kindly invited me over to Germany in the Summer so we had a fabulous time and I got to go to an extra show before Wembley and, for the first and probably only time in my life I got to be on the front row!! . Dusseldorf 27th august 2009. Then just a few short weeks after it was onto Wembley and the two concerts and mass Coldplayer meet ups. 18th September 2009 and 19th September 2009 Then I had resigned myself to not seeing Coldplay again for ages and it was really depressing me, I couldn't listen to Coldplay or even look in the forum much for weeks after Wembley but, a little Christmas miracle happened thanks mainly to Chris/Jayzo and Pete/Tonsu, and I got to go and see my beloved Coldplay boys ( especially Chris) in Exeter which brought me back full circle within the decade. Back to the Westcountry where I live (although I was in Hertfordshire up until the day of the gig :)) and back to a tiny 500 people gig though this one was in a tent! It's a really long story how I ended up to get there but I only knew I was going again 3 days before so it was panic stations but I made it.... Chris was so relaxed and perfect that evening and I'll never forget it! I will write a proper review in the live gig thread soon I promise. If I was any good at writing I could write a book with all my Coldplay exploits, none of the pictures are mine, I found them all in the gallery or on photobucket. Sometimes it's only Coldplay and this forum that keep me going through the tough times, best wishes to you all in the new year! Exeter Castle 19th December 2009 Haha, and a Happy 2010 from Our Chris!!!

  5. That's a gorgeous shirt. :)
  6. I was determined to get one off him, after 11 concerts and thousands of pounds spent it's the only thing I've ever had from a gig :)
  7. They use automatic bidding software that pips the winning bid at the last possible second. Congrats to everyone who won something, wish I was rich  I have a VLV guitar pick from Exeter  so it's not all bad!
  8. HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone, with love XXX
  9. Oh thank you Nicky that would be wonderful, I love your artistic talents :)

  12. Oooh is that Ville in your Avi? My daughters are watching him tonight in Helsinki, and on New Year's Eve, they are as bad as me for live music :)

  20. It also says you can pay by bank transfer for larger amounts so maybe if you contact Debs and ask her that might be easier for you.
  21. If you read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the item listing it usually tells you. Just had a look at the Coldplay stuff and it says payment must be made within 10 days.
  22. :shocked2: Are you The Queen? ...Or Elton John?? :shocked2::shocked2:
