  1. :dozey:Well, maybe that wasn't the right thing to say..:laugh3: Also, she could conceivably do the same, so...
  2. Sadly, not the Bushwhackers, just Whacker. Chicago is a most civilized town - they even have Pizza, and Coldplay on occasion!:rolleyes:
  3. Well, just think of it this way. Now that there's two of you, then you can share your problems with the other you! Plus, any unwanted debt could be transferred to the Bank of Texarkana, since you now have an account there under your name!:P Indya Smith, 1300 Gunsmoke Avenue, South Texarkana, TX.

    That's what the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy says, so it must be true!;)
  5. And more importantly, you lived to tell about it!;) Yes, if you've driven in Chicago, it's almost unavoidable.. Named in honor of the Whackers..:laugh3: Lower Whacker Drive is part of the "city beneath the city" - a subterranean delivery route, for delivery trucks and other vehicles. So the grating above is for ventilation, road support, and allows dirt to fall on the delivery vehicles below.. London has underground rail to deliver goods (Y/N)??
  6. C2 Here is what the Encyclopedia Galactica has to say about alcohol. It says that alcohol is a colorless volatile liquid formed by the fermentation of sugars and also notes its intoxicating effect on certain carbon-based life forms. The Hitchhiker's Guide also mentions alcohol. It says that the best drink in existence is the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.:)

    Don't Panic! Always remember, Earth is a glorious computer, created to solve the ultimate question in the Universe.
  8. Lower Wacker Drive is one of the streets in Chicago. Basically, the one the elevated train goes over - and it's bizarre to drive on, because it's got some kind of steel grating beneath it (I think it goes over some rivers and god only knows what else), and it makes this roaring sound from the tires when you drive on it..:laugh3: Check it out - just rent the Blues Brothers movie, and they at some point drive on Lower Wacker Drive.;) Yea, come to think of it - that is a funny name! Wacker drive, as though it "whacks" your car's suspension system!
  9. :laugh3:If you remember to keep one foot on the floor, then the room stops spinning! But yea, the water is a very good idea, and maybe an aspirin too - helps prevent hangovers (well, really bad ones at least!):P Avoid Wacker Drive tomorrowm and you'll be just fine..;)

    OOPS! Sorry! I'm still using the older Infinite Improbability Drive, which sent that last message, precisely at 3:42AM. What are you scared of?? :laugh3:
  11. Obviously, you just need to move to Texarkana! As a border town wedged strategically between the corner of Texas and Arkansas, with easy access to the interstate, you'll be within an 18 hour drive from Chicago, and can then comfortably visit both you twin and Carolyn!!:P Plus, for no extra fee, you will be treated to a song by Otis Williams, founding member of the Temptations!! And that's not all! If you act now, we'll even send you a postcard from your twin, with a picture of the lovely Texarkana water tower, complete with pines!
  12. Hey, is the Palmer house still there in the downtown??:rolleyes:
  13. Well, the field is.. located just a half mile due west of the intersection of Newton Lake Rd. And County Rd. X. :) (it's the one to the south side of the road) Now, if you Google Earth... And, the store owner had the scanner on, and picked up the police report. He asked me, "Say, what type of farm are you running there?" Yes, like I've got a nudist colony in the back 80!:laugh3:
  14. We can't possibly be the same! For instance, I have a mere 2042 some odd posts, and Steve Irwin's ghost there has at least 37,671 posts, making mc_squared more likely to be perhaps as many as a bakers' dozen of other people, operating out of only one phone booth.:P How did either of you get so many posts?? :bulb::wacko:

    The Bistromathic Drive is a wonderful new method of crossing vast interstellar distances without all that dangerous mucking about with Improbability Factors. Bistromathics itself is simply a revolutionary new way of understanding the behavior of numbers. Just as Einstein observed that space was not an absolute, but dependent on the observer's movement in space, and that time was not an absolute, but depended on the observer's movement in time, so it is now realized that numbers are not absolute, but depend on the observer's movement in restaurants.
  16. Today I learned of an arrest. Yes, but not an ordinary arrest. You see, I own a large meadow, full of wildflowers, and apparently there were 4 girls who, for some unknown reason, decided that they would go out into this field, and run around naked. (which I don't mind - heck, as long as they're not burning the place down, what do I care?) Well, anyhow, apparently a cop was passing by on the road, and they unfortunately got arrested! I missed the whole thing, and heard about it from the local store owner. Sorry they had to get arrested, but it does conjure up an image that had me laughing!:laugh3:
  17. :laugh3:And I still remember that song too! Looking back, the music was funny at times!
  18. :rolleyes:Not yet, but I'm sure there's one out there somewhere..:shifty::pleased:
  19. Texarkana is, well, very much between Texas and that other place..:laugh3: I've wandered through the wild western town, and it's alright - it's just like the name sounds! But hey, we all have a double somewhere on the planet...;) But look at the similarities, and consider: Do you like water? Do you like fruit smoothies? See! I'll bet you have plenty in common!
  20. Jonathan Greenwood:guitarist::hat:
  21. Rick / Rick Wilson? Anywhohow, I can celebrate with Greenwood, so beat that!:P
  22. It's still on?? Hmm.. 12:28PM and thinking about human nature.

    :rolleyes::laugh3:Funny! It would take an estimated 42 minutes to fall through a tunnel bored strait through earth's center, and pop up on the other side, if there were no air resistance.. (and I'll be 42 in just a few short months! YIKES!:stunned:)
  24. Finishing a letter to Senator Russ Feingold, hoping he can whisper into Barack's other ear.. "war is dangerous Luke! Be wise to the ways of the Jedi, and use all other means first; and remember you friends on Tatoonie - going it alone, is to divide the forces of good, and weaken our chances of survival. A wise Jedi knows that the force grows in strength when it is within its own fellowship"
