The concert was awesome!!!! First time seeing them, so it was a great moment for me, they come to Australia all the time but I always miss out coz I'm too young or lack of money.....and as I went with my older sister I wasnt exactly going to pick up anyone in front of her! Plus I was way too interested in Ed Kowalczyk (lead singer if you didnt know) to care about anyone else around me lol.....I was thinking about going out afterwards...but I was too tired by the end of it, plus I had uni today...but anyway I love concerts!!! So worth the money and the waiting for!!!

Hey Josh! Ended up driving to the Palais last night....there was plenty of parking when I got there, and my car didnt get stolen wooo!! And I didnt pick up scary random guys either...so overall a fantastic night:P

Yeah I have GA for my concert as well.....and how cute, what a great first concert for your son!!! And dont worry, Im not to keen on Kanye West...for me I would have preferred even Franz Ferdinand....but the BEST would have been Pearl Jam...they are supporting them in Hawaii...that would have been perfect if they could have done that here!!! It doesnt matter coz I'm seeing Pearl Jam anyway this year....but still...it wouldnt be so bad if we had someone better....coldplay would have been great!!!

No I totally get what you're saying....I'm just hoping I get past my quater-life crisis sooner rather than later...but I'm probably not stressing about it as much as I should be...but I have the attitude, I'm only 19..I have plenty of time to figure out what I want to with the rest of my life...and if I'm in the wrong course, its not a big deal..I can always come back to uni (not really keen on doing that), but if its for soemthing i really wanna do..I'll just do it. Anyway film studies sounds interesting......maybe later on down the track you could go into doing something like...hmmm directing future pearl jam video clips! If that ever happens you gotta hook me up, I wanna meet the guys!

Its funny coz I really like Rudebox!!! Its funky and great to dance to...and when I watched a recent concert of his on TV I thought when he performed this song, it was one of the highlights for sure!! Not sure about Lovelight though, I've only heard it once so I have to hear it again to get a proper opinion of it.....anyway cant wait to him again in December....he always puts on a great show!

OMG I searched for a Live thread and this is what I got.....this is terribly disappointing! Anyway just got back from seeing Live in concert....I knew they had a reputation of being fantastic ...well live lol...and believe me they were!!! They played their old classics like Lightning Crashes, Lakini's Juice, Selling the Drama, I Alone (a real highlight), as well as more recent songs ...fantastic! Ed Kowalczyk has an amazing energy about him...puts on a fantastic rock concert while sipping red wine lol...great guy! Anyway had a great time, sorry for bumping an old thread....but I'm just excited coz I finally got to see them, they love Australia and we love them...peace!

I'm a nursing student....and I'm still not sure if its for me...very confusing...considering transferring courses, but still dont know! So dont worry that you dont know what you're doing...there are plenty of us!
