  1. Phtographer: "Okay, hold it up-- yeah, perfect. Now one more time, how long did Chris have it on his back?" Jonny: "Oh it was brilliant! Had it on his back for the whole bloody performance! Couldn't figure out why everyone was laughin' at him!" Chris: [under his breath] "Yeah, bloody funny, Jonny. You just wait 'till we get back to the hotel. . ." Jonny: "Muahahahaha . . ."
  2. Okay, here's my two cents. . . actually it's three :-D John Lennon from the beatles is my all time fav (he was a smart ass punk and I love him for it!!) Followed closely by Thom Yorke from Radiohead and then, of course, Mr. Chris Martin himself. (I know, please, hide your shock . . .)
  3. britney spears sounding like coldplay . . . oh god. that's it, the human race is officially screwed. :? What's the name of her new album gonna be called, 'A Rush of Blood to the Ass'? That is where she thinks from, right? (sorry, i just really can't stand her . . .)
  4. OKAY: My best friend's sister is graduating from High School and we are throwing her a surprise graduation party. WELL, my friend has opted NOT to hire a DJ and knows full well that I am a Kazaa freak and wants me to compile a "dancelist" and made a couple cds worth of music for dancing. Okay, I'm a Coldplay, Radiohead kinda gal and I'm really not UP on what's cool to dance to at parties! :( I need HELP, you guys! What would I put on a tracklist for a party where everyone is going to be primarily 16- 18 years old?!? Yours Sincerely, Pulling Her Hair Out in LA
  5. Will: "Chris, now listen to me very closely: you're taking this whole R.Kelly thing way too seriously! Just come on down, slowly . . ." Chris: "BUT I DO! I really DO believe I can FLY!!"
  6. here's another one: Will: "Bloody Hell, Chris! That's fooking disgustin'" Guy: "How d'you think I feel, I'm standin' right behing the bastard. . ." Johnny: "Should've listened to me and laid off that last helpin' of beans, Chris. . ." Chris: "Shurrup, all of you, the man's tryin' to take the bloody picture. . ."
  7. Venus replied to Manders's topic in The Lounge
No, the **best** part is WITHOUT a doubt: "Come back! Come back, I say! Or I'll bite your ankles off!!"
  8. Okay, so every message board usually has one of these. I couldn't find a thread for it, so if there already is one of these, then I am sure the moderators will close this thread, but hopefully we'll get to have a lot of fun here! You all know the way these works: post a pic and let the rest of us get creative on it! I'll start the festivities with this one: "No, I swear, it really *is* this big!" next?
  9. Actually, the Hollywood Bowl is one of the most beautiful ampitheaters I've ever been to! It's smack in the middle of the Hollywood hills and it's such a relaxing atmosphere: most people who go pack a nice picnic with wine and champagne and crackers and other fingerfoods and lounge around for a while before going in for the show. It's also cool 'cause every seat is a good one. (We were sitting towards the back, but still could see everything.) Sorry, it's just that a really good friend of mine plays bass for the philharmonic that usually plays there, so I'm rather partial to that place . . . :D
  10. Yeah-- doubtful it's him. Some flippin' moron signed a guestbook on my friend's website about an actor we like, claiming to be him. She was *flooded* with emails from pubescent girls swooning 'Oh I can't believe he signed it! How wonderful!' when it really turned out to not be him at all. Some people have nothing better to do . . .
  11. I would certainly buy it! :) (just paid 30 bucks for one over the weekend at the concert -- and my friend made me a shirt that says "politik"! It's awesome: just a plain black shirt with "politik" in small white letters". Love it . . .)
  12. I think the Stereophonics are a *fantastic* band and really wish they were known here in the States. I first heard them about three years ago visiting my best friend in beford and was totally surprised by how good they were!
  13. Er . . . Mr. Peed? Your avatar is REALLY freakin' me out there . . . :o (but *quite* funny . . . )
  14. :-D hee hee hee. My favorite line: "WHO was Joan of Ark?" "Uh . . . Noah's wife?" OH and I love it when the teacher says "So then what you're telling me is that Napoleon was a short, dead dude?"
  15. Holy Shmoses. People will make *anything* into a movie these days. I hope this doesn't start a trend of 'lets turn a popular song into a movie' because if so. . . we are all screwed. *cringes* Can you imagine? "Warner Bros. is proud to present the story of a woman and the man who wanted her nekked. . . "Rock Your Body" starring Justin Timberlake . . ." **RUNS SCREAMING**
