Chris: "Each of us had very, very strict parents who would lock us in our rooms until we learnt a new chord. Will's parents were particularly harsh. He was not allowed food until he could learn a new Beatles song every day." **Screen goes to Will who looks serious** Chris: "That's why he's so depressed." : : Chris (to Jonny): "Did you have lessons? Piano lessons?" Jonny: " I had some piano lessons... then my teacher gave up." Chris: "What, cos you were that bad?" Jonny: *laughs Chris: "You were unteachable." LMAO. Good stuff

I've been going through all these random threads, and I'm not sure if one like this already exists, but people have some hilarious quotes from bands, thought it would make for good reading  Let me start us all off with... "Coldplay is for people with great taste, intelligence, incredible good lookingness, talent, ability, success, grabbing of life. Coldplay's for people who know what life is about. They are always entertaining. Delightful to talk to. Sweet, charming, incredibly good in bed. Virile. They have incredible success with girls or boys...or both. They're generally just the world's best citizens. Maybe i'm biased. But i'm definitely right." - Chris Martin :laugh3:
  8. M - Modest Mouse
  9. "Get Free" - The Vines. Awesome, awesome song. Wish i could find somewhere that has the "Clocks" ringtone, I've been wanting that one for yonks!!
  10. Wow... First of all... *speechless* over the Bono meeting- AMAZING, and as for spotting Coldplay I'm sooo jealous. I was walking around the city on the day of the third melb concert hoping to spot them but to no avail. I would have jumped off the tram and attempted to strike up conversation.. If i could get my mouth to work

Talk draft version You know I was wondering why my downloaded version of Talk was different.. Although I suspected it was something like that. Brothers & Sisters or Can't get you outta my head (cover)...

  13. 1/ I love that Chris Martin quote from Enough Rope 2/ He has eyes like Hugh Laurie 3/ I wish House was on last week 4/ "I'm on the move!!!" (music- song called Turn it Out) 5/ Someone should really start a new Radiohead thread, that other one is massively massive.
  14. Sorry dude, I don't think you can. If you had your setup so that iTunes automatically saved your files on the computer then is just a matter of uploading your iTunes folder back into iTunes and sifting through it all..
  15. Hey guys, I'm new to the site, also recommended by ginn123. I was at the Melbourne Coldplay Show, front row to right. AWESOME night!! Chris Martin sang to me aswell! I swear I almost died. And I don't mean "sang to me" as in looked in my vague general direction; I mean he looked me square in the eyes and sang a verse of Talk to me!!! I think they sealed the deal with me being a lifelong fan, thanks to that (not that I wouldn't have been anyway). Anyway, if you're bored you're welcome to visit my site and read all about my concert experience haha: http://rinaeleven.spaces.msn.com/
  16. Hey I'm new to this too, go us! ginn 123 also recomended this site to me- I was at the concert on the 2/7/06, Melb show. HE SANG TO ME!!! Almost died on the spot. haha. anyway, hope this site is nice to us!
  17. Yeah, a night of awesomeness! Yea I went to that night! I was on the right, front row. Remember when Chris was singing to a member of the audience in the beginning of Talk? That was me!!!! I swear, when he started singing to me my brain shut down; I completely forgot all the lyrics and thought "Do not drop this gaze!!!!!". He has eyes like Hugh Laurie. Not that I've ever met Hugh Laurie, but you know. It was hot.
