How do people date online, really? I mean how does the conversation go? Like do you use a lot of "*" to say that you're doing this at this time or another? Hehe I just find it a bit odd. Dating is weird enough in real life let alone it being online! But the love thing is fine, imo. I don't think a person would be able to help those feelings towards someone they care about wether it's online or not. Though it should take a longer time online to go ahead and admit these feelings to someone. So you'd be able to know them more, be sure of these feelings and what this other person is like.
