  1. Thanks. :) Ohhh..ok. I kinda get it. Sort of.
  2. lol just sent you a pm. But I'll say it again here: I don't have the sheets for Proof. I just did that by ear. I can't read sheets well let alone write it. If anyone wants to transcribe it, feel free to do it using my tabs. As for Yellow, I tried to copy the KCRW radio version. But of course I alternated it to allow the "lyrics" notes to be played as well. Otherwise it would be repetitive and boring. That's why it's higher I think...
  3. Uhm. What does that mean? And DeuxEx, I don't think I really understand your post. What do the m's mean?
  4. You know...that would take a REALLY long time. lol. Not to mention extremely difficult to describe. That was alot more complex than Proof.
  5. I just learnt this yesterday... Anyway what do you think? Edit: I have removed most of my videos on Youtube because I only meant to leave the up until the end of summer. So if anyone stumbles upon this thread and finds that you can't see it, that's why. It is, however, set to private, so if you'd still like to see it, you can message me on Youtube. Thanks everyone for your comments though. :)
  6. No I haven't tried Square One yet either. As for Clocks, I need to figure out a better way to do overhead views, as I don't have a tripod. gotitans shows how to play it on YouTube, but there's still some parts I like to do differently. But you can watch his video in the meantime. And if anyone likes Keane, I uploaded my version of their new single, Crystal Ball. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qY8k-1uD-g
  7. I already did. It's a few posts up. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1735170&postcount=17
  8. If anyone wants to learn Proof on the piano, I made a post trying to explain how to play it here: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32756&page=2 But it's my interpretation by ear, so...I dunno. Worth trying out though. :)
  9. Yeah I try and play all my songs by ear cuz I find that most sheet music isnt as good as the way Chris plays. I can't read sheets well anyway. Sure I'd like to help, but I don't know how you mean?
  10. Well I haven't tried What If yet. I'm trying to do other songs at the moment, so once I finish them then maybe I'll try it.
  11. Alright, hopefully this will make sense. Sorry, I don't know the "names" of the chords because I never took lessons. So I'm just gonna write out the keys. In the beginning where there's that little riff going, your left hand taps B four times. At the same time, your right hand plays a combination of [E G# B] also four times in unison with the left hand. Then, the left hand goes G#, B. Then LH: C# C# C# C# ---> together with RH: [E G# C#] four times as well. Then repeat that entire part. Next part, now the LH plays [E G# B]. Keep tapping it at this part. The "singing" notes for the right hand go: E F# G# E B E# Then LH: [E G# C#] four times. Now LH: [E# F# B] --> together with RH: B B E E (your hands kinda get tied together here but its still do-able) Then LH: [E G# C#] four times ---> RH: B just once Repeat that last section. LH: [F# B E#] four times --> RH (after LH taps its chord twice): G# F# LH: [E G# C#] four times --> RH:E .....BB (wait until you tap the [E G# C#] four times untill you tap B twice) ^Repeat that once. Then LH: [F# B E#] twice until you press--> RH: G# F# LH still [F# B E#] six times. At the 6th time, RH: E Then go back to the main riff. And repeat everything following if you wish. And thats the song.
  12. It's kinda difficult to "write" out chords though. Ummm...I'll try to when I'm at my keyboard later. If you can't see the vid, try deleting temporary internet files and cookies, then try again. Sometimes works for me. I also added in my version of "Look After You" by the Fray, if any of you people like them at all. :) http://youtube.com/watch?v=XRIpX0Z66HI
  13. No, Proof is just a really simple song. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpNdD50Mvdg Sorry it took a while. I was away from my piano for a bit.
  14. Nah I like doing it by myself. I tried it on the piano yesterday, and I already have the main riff down. :)
  15. Omg I just downloaded the song. I can't believe I missed this...I'll have to learn this for sure. It doesn't sound too hard either...I'll try and have it done within a few days. Thank you for the tip! :)
  16. I added my version of Talk in.
  17. Sounds like a lovely idea! But I don't really write songs. I'm terrible at poetry, which is why I only play Coldplay songs.
  18. Oops I forgot to put the link. Well here it is: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=kc89
  19. I recorded Yellow (my attempt at the KCRW radio version) A Message, Fix You, The Scientist. I also did some The Killers, Keane, Oasis, Imogen Heap, The Fray, Travis and Thirteen Senses videos if any of you listen to them. I tried doing all of these by ear, so sorry if they're crap. My first few videos were done when my piano was offtune as well. I was also using a Canon Powershot for these. Just want some comments from some Coldplay fans. Feel free to comment on the videos if you have a YouTube account. Edit: I have removed most of my videos because I only meant to leave them up until the end of summer. So if anyone stumbles upon this thread and finds that there aren't any Coldplay videos on my account, that's why. However, if you'd still like to see them, feel free to send me a message on Youtube. Thank you everyone for your comments though. You have inspired me to keep playing :)
