  1. Have some questions too. I'd like to know which is usually better guarantee of front seats: - calling in ticketmaster, - going online, - or just physically being at the box office? Also, once tickets go on sale a certain date, is it at the stroke of midnight, or a certain hour on that day?
  2. Ah it didn't show up for me until now.
  3. I posted this on another thread, but I'll post it here too: On the coldplay admin site, there is a new icon picture beside the web address toolbar. It says "VIVA" with the same red and black color scheme on the front page of the official website. Link: http://www.coldplay.com/admin/index.html I'm guessing this may be on the official website as well once the finished product is actually posted. Makes more sense than a blue star anyhow. Not too big of news, but it looks cool :)
  4. Coldplay, thank you for making the most beautiful music I've ever heard. I know this next album will be nothing short of amazing. ...and please come to Winnipeg, Canada during your tour. It would make my life.
  5. If you look at the admin site now, the little icon beside the web address is now a "Viva" with the same red and black color scheme. I think this may be the new icon for the website perhaps? Makes more sense than a blue star.
  6. I'm definately going to be tempted to learn all the songs on the piano straight away, but I'll try my best to at least refrain from doing that the first few days. Should have nice weather by June, so I'm going to want to listen to it while taking a walk outside. :) That always gets me feeling deep...perfect for listening to music.
  7. Is it safe to say that Violet Hill is indeed the first single of the new album then? It's not just going to be released as a "download", as was said before?
  8. Oh I see...I was a bit concerned cuz I have some covers as well on Youtube. They are getting more strict though. And nice job :) I love Muse.
  9. Why did they remove them? Just because you did covers?
  10. Ahh yeah. I know what you mean. :) Well it turns out that alot of people forgot, so I'm gonna hand it in tomorrow! Since there seems to be a lack of "inspirational" quotes from Coldplay, I think I'm just gonna arrange a bunch of song titles to make a sentence. Got the idea from either here, or on the Coldplay forum. Plus, everyone usually puts famous quotes from people. I don't think anyone has done this, so it gives it a bit of a creative edge I hope, lol. "It's Closing Time, and this is The Hardest Part: to say The Last Goodbye and Put It Behind You. Can't Stop Now, but Don't Panic. With the World at Your Feet, there are Better Days to Come." I may alter it a little if I find anything, but that's the gist of it!
  11. Argh...I've looked through 54 pages of that so far, and they're all funny quotes. They're good stuff and everything, but are there any..."inspiring "quotes? *sigh* Judging by these, I wouldn't bet on many. Chris is too funny, doesn't seem to have many serious moments. :( Thank you for commenting though!
  12. I'm thinking of putting a Coldplay quote for the yearbook (due tomorrow I think, lol), but I'm having trouble finding some. Please post if you know any, much appreciated. They can be lyrics too I guess.
  13. Kacey replied to Kacey's topic in Coldplay
Okay, nevermind. I think I found a way to answer the question without needing this afterall. Thanks though!
  14. Kacey replied to Kacey's topic in Coldplay
Deb answered this: i don't know! it was just something that represents te whole balance, equating quantitities etc that the themes explore. ( they have talked about it in so many interviews!) I havent found any interviews so far...can anyone help? Or is this the general basic reason?
  15. Kacey replied to Kacey's topic in Coldplay
Ughh yeah I've seen that already. But it doesn't exactly state WHY they chose to do this. I know what the code stands for, but I want to know why baudot.
  16. Kacey posted a topic in Coldplay
I know this seems rather late to ask, but WHY did coldplay use baudot code? any specific reasons? Please answer quick, I need it for my exam.
  17. When You Were Young - The Killers on piano. Though a more recent one was Worn Me Down by Rachel Yamagata (piano as well).
  18. Hmmm...I'd really have to hear your stuff to say anything. Why don't post a vid?
  19. I'm 17 now. :) I'll have to listen to some of Radiohead's songs DeusEx, I don't really know them that well.
  20. Well since it's summer, I've had more time to practice and learn more songs. Play about once a day or so. During the school, barely any time at all. And I'm not sure how long I've been playing. I know a little before I was seven. But I stopped for a couple years because I didn't like it. Then Coldplay came along to change my mind in the past year. :)
  21. That's the second comment today about my hands. lol. Thanks though. :)
  22. Yes, I already know how to play it. I made a video of it earlier, but removed it because I play it differently now. And uh...I don't know what you're talking about since I am absolutely clueless about chords. lol.
  23. To be honest, it's an ok song, but that good that I'm willing to try it out. I'm busy doing another song at the moment anyway...The Killers "When You Were Young."
  24. Is it difficult to tell? lol. Well it's an acoustic one, and the brand is...."Young Chang." I do have an electric Yamaha though.
