Today I'm feeling content. :)

Haha every girl and their mum here LOVES the Twilight series. I have only read the first one, and I was very hesitant at first, because I'm just not a romance kinda gal, and it seems so gushy because everyone kept talking about Edward/Bella and blah blah. It wasn't as mushy as I thought it'd be, teehee. If I have time I should pick up the next one in the series.

Oh I know!! I'm going through a transition in my life right now, and I can really apply a lot of the philosophies and lessons from the book into my life. And I'm truly the happiest I've ever been. :nice:

Ugh I know. I happen to like different kinds of music from different parts of the world (though I'm not into the sugary pop Asian stuff my cousin listens to...). I listen to blues and jazz, classical, latin pop...the works. Music, as well as other things, are meant to be experienced and enjoyed by everyone, and everyone should be able to be part of the musical journey together. Hahaha it takes awhile to get to know me and really find my sweet side...:P

I used to be very 'in the know' about what was going on in the world when I was younger. When we would talk about current events in class, I would always feel like a dork because kids would say, "My God, how do you know all that?!" But as I've gotten older, I've lost touch with a lot of that. And I found that out in Journalism class this year, when every morning we would read the paper and discuss what was mentioned. I thought, Wow, I missed out on a lot, huh... I suppose I've been out of touch with the world for the same reason you guys have: It's the same shit over and over again. And for the first time in awhile, I was reading the news on Yahoo, and of course, it was about gasoline and the Middle East. It seems like it's not ever going to end, and it's painstakingly redundant. I'm not saying that I want other different problems to happen, but there is so much other things offered to everyone nowadays that sometimes...the world needs a break from all that.
