  1. Hola! Escucho a Coldplay!!!!!
  2. 10! :nice: Anything with Chris is a 10!
  3. Wow today was AMAZING! :nice: At my school today, the ninth graders do what is called 'Ellis Island Day'. Everyone gets together in groups, or 'families', and the family has to be a certain ethnicity that came to Ellis Island. My family was Russian. Since my whole group consisted of girls, and our immigrant personas were young, single girls without a parent, we were told to be careful and try to stay away from boy groups, because we might have been hurt, or thought to be prostitutes. :laugh3: All day we had this simulation as if we were actual immigrants coming to America. Everyone was dressed up in old clothes and everything. We had visas, and our bags were checked and the works. We also had to take the same tests that real immigrants did, like the medical and literacy tests, but wasn't as gross. :P That was the only annoying part, because for the mental acuity test, it took a while, so there was a long line. People would cut in front of us. I ended up standing in line with 4 inch heel boots on for an hour. x____x People would be sent to quarantine if they didn't pass a medical exam, or if you were bribing an officer you'd be sent to detention. My friends and I purposely started bribing a bunch of officers money, so we could be sent to detention. It was actually a lot of fun. :P I ended up doing it twice. Hehe. At lunch, everyone in my family brought in food, so we could all eat the same thing as a family. I brought cupcakes. ^____^ The band was playing jazz, and there was a chorus singing. Pretty sweet. Oh! And we got to eat for an hour! :D Then we went to the auditorium to watch Irish dancers and a singing quartet. That was a lot of fun. Everyone was cheering, it was so amazing. Then we finally were taken under oath as American Citizens! We got our visas stamped and everything! Today was the most amazing day ever. Just so amazing.
  4. That's a nice-looking can of Coke! :P

Hmmm well let's see if I can answer these questions without sounding stupid. :P 1. With trends, I don't really care about them. I mean, if I like it, I'll wear it. But just because everyone else is wearing it doesn't mean that I will. In fact, I will lose interest in some clothes if everyone wears them just because it's 'in'. I find that it loses its uniqueness. 2. What do I find trendy...hmmm. Like I answered in the first question, I'm not big on trends. I either like something or I don't. I do get some ideas of what I like from ELLE, but I'm not Lindsay Lohan, where I am a trend hanger from head to toe. That's just really annoying. Besides, ELLE is slightly more sophisicated than Teen People, dont' cha think? 3. I shop everywhere. Gap, H&M, Old Navy, Delias....Macys and those department stores. I also shop at bargain stores, like Ross. I find absolutely amazing things there for so cheap! :) I will say, that I DEFINITELY dont' shop at those 'prep' stores, like Hollister, Abercrombie or whatever. I can't ever believe why kids these days would buy a crappy tshirt for $40. 4. Here my perspective of H&M: Where I live, EVERYONE wears what I call 'cookie cutter' clothes, such as Hollister, Abercrombie and American Eagle. It's truly disgusting. You have no idea how many popped collars and ripped jeans I see everyday. No one has any originality. Where I live, having H&M is like a breath of fresh air. There are a lot of different items there, and the style is unique. That's why I always shop there. It's more in my unique style and things are a lot more sophisicated and not crappy like Hollister. People may stare, but hey, I look good! ;) Although people stare, many compliment me for my sense of style. Not because I shop at H&M, but just how differently I dress than anyone else, yet still look good. I have what some people call 'creativity'. In conclusion, fashion may be about nice clothes or whatever, but style is where you put your own personality into your fashion. People care too much about what everyone else is wearing that what is called 'fashionable' for people my age is humiliating. I'm not trying to criticize anyone's style here AT ALL. That's just how I see it when I observe people my age's style. I'm sure you guys have impeccable taste. ;) Actually, I guess I can't really complain. If everyone where I live follows my advice, I wouldn't be so special, huh...:laugh3:
  7. Happy Birthday! :nice:

Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall. Ever since I heard that song in 'The Devil Wears Prada' I always listen to the song when I get ready for something!
  9. I want to make it soooooooooooo bad. :embarassed: I doubt I will though..
  10. I think Zero 7's 'In the Waiting Line' seems like a good makeout song. As for Coldplay, the only one I really see is 'X&Y'.
  11. There's absolutely NO WAY I'm gonna make it...:disappointed:
  12. Woah that's a lot of people, Ray!
