It's so hard talking to my dad, though, because we're both 'stubborn' personalities and sometimes we just end up fighting. And the thing is that he never listens to what I have to say. He never gives me a chance to explain myself and just assumes EVERYTHING. Before I can explain something fully he CORRECTS me, and I don't even have a chance to say the same thing he is correcting me with. I think my parents just think I'm some stupid kid who thinks like everyone else so they have a reason to treat me like I don't know better... I've always gotten along with my mom better, but she has a tendency to just agree with my dad just because. EDIT: I REALLY hope that I don't sound like a whiny immature teenager right now...That's not what I'm trying to be at all. For now I'm taking it for what it is, but I won't give up just yet.
