  12. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not pointing fingers at others. I'm just telling what happened here with money and power. Just want to share. :( Trust me, I do my best to help other with my own way.
  13. It happened once here where a husband decided to 'kill' his wife cause she's been in a state where she was only technically alive (only breathing with machine help and nothing else) and doctors said there's almost no chance that she would recovered. This condition had been running for years and the husband (which is not a rich man at all) couldn't afford the medication anymore and he got 3 children to feed and raised. This case made lots and lots of pros and conts. As for myself, I would do that but only after I consulted the situation with the doctors and law experts. I mean it had to be legally done. Self-defense and saving other's life would be the reason I'd kill someone.
  14. In my car and at work. It helps me concentrating doing my job.
  15. I agree with you, that's why I choose money and power if I have to make a choice. But most people soon 'forget' their good intentions or plans once they got money and power. I'm sure many of world/country leaders or successful businessmen had the same thought when they fought to be a leader / a rich man. I live in a third world country and I've seen many leaders here promising that they would do this and that for the better, but what we ordinary people got? Nothing. It's all only promises and promises. :( Humans are so easily to get tempted to be greed when they get the chance. It needs a powerful person inside to stay true to his good will (or good heart) and make it done. Fact. So if one of us here one day really have money and power, please don't forget to pay forward all the blessings that you got to other people in need. Then the world might would be a better place with better people. :nice:
  16. :laugh3: :laugh3: I can imagine what George's face looked like when he heard that. :laugh3: That's what I thought. Then he would just show the security man his pass and get in. And the guests list must also put the guests photo, so they would be recognized right away. You're right. This security guard might have never listened to any music. :D
  17. 12 Albums Everyone Should Own (Not including Coldplay) 1. The Beatles - Abbey Road 2. Keane - Hopes & Fears 3. Blur - Parklife :nice:
  18. I'm not complaining. :) I log on here everyday though I don't post everyday, and I can see that actually there are lots of new threads, BUT lack of replies. One of probably many reasons is that some of those threads don't require a long discussion. I mean once you reply to it, then it's done. It's like someone asking you when is your birthday and you answer it and that's it. :( You are absolutely right about being creative. Unfortunately I'm not that creative. :D I think I made a reply to one of yours. ;) The thing is sometimes people are only willing to reply when they feel they could say something in it or if the threads are interesting for them. If not, they will just ignore it. I'm not saying that your threads are not interesting, please don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that's the way people act, imo. :)
