^^ I've read that too and I love it! It was setting in Japan, not China. :) We can learn lots of things about their cultures and beliefs from that period. Although it has a sad ending, but overall it's great. Right now I'm reading MuggleNet.com's What Will Happen In Harry Potter 7. :D It's too late now that I've read book 7, lol, but it's interesting to know their predictions and analysis.

I've read Tales of The Otori and they are indeed great books. I love it! :) Ineritance series by Christopher Paolini - are they Eragon and Eldest? I forgot the title of the series. I've read them too but I think there are too many 'predictable' plot in it.

Although I think what it means with 'Hispanic' sound is they probably put some sample of Hispanic music played by traditional Hispanic music instruments into some of their songs. Or they create melodies inspired by Hispanic music / sound. Just like The Beatles that put the sound of sitar into their songs after they visited India. I think it's not bad at all for Coldplay to try to do the same thing. :)
