"There will be an announcement this week" was pretty vague and i'm sure most were thinking of an album, single or even a tour announcement. The first two messages were believable anyway and the timescale made some sense but if it is the same person in this latest message, I believe it's not legit and with the reaffirming comment "You were right! I’m so curious who you are now. I can’t wait to hear the new music :)", i'm sure he's gonna come back for more, as a 'secret messiah'! Let me put it this way: Someone working close to band, no doubt a professional, wants to maybe tip off fans about whats on the way but then the 'I told you so' message suggests they're in it for some sort of fame. If it was true and they're professional, i'm sure they wouldn't feel the need to post an 'insecure' comment, that's my opinion anyway.

Interesting. They are similar to The Telegraph (India's version pretty much), who are reliable. Looking at their sports section and only actual news being there suggests they don't like to post about rumours. They have pretty much copied what The Sun said yesterday and added that 'Beyonce type release' statement. When the The Sun say they have sources, they aren't often wrong and The Hindu seem to be backing them up on that.

To change your Avatar: On desktop, go to 'settings' at the top right, then 'edit avatar' on the left toolbar. On the mobile app, bring up the main sidebar menu then click on the person icon on the top right. Click on the picture icon next to your username, then you can upload it :) To post the avatar / any pic: On desktop, click on the image icon in quick reply and paste in the URL of the pic. Or click 'go advanced', use the 'tinypic plugin', upload your pic, then copy the code into your post. On mobile app, reply to a post, then click on options (top right), 'attach picture', upload your picture, then choose 'post attachment' (not direct image). If your using the iPhone app, there should be a picture icon at the bottom of the reply screen instead. ----- Hope that helps :)

Coldplayzone found 'Waltz In B Minor' to be related to Mylo Xyloto. It was mentioned somewhere in the Mylo Xyloto lyric booklet or something.

Looking to update the site banner (on the main site & forums), along with the Wikicoldplay logo. This could be going the way that 'The Streets - Dry Your Eyes' went. Chris didn't like the version they made and then it ended up becoming The Streets only. We got to hear it in the end though, via a leak or something. [video=youtube;2clk5xPxJYc]

Something to add, about Phil Tan. In his Q&A session (at 42 mins), when he was asked about his favourite music genre, he said he didn't really have one but if he had to pick, he'd choose rock.

Chris has stated that they want to 'break barriers' within the music industry. I don't think it will be 'fully pop', they'll be seeking to mix styles and experiment. My main concern is that it doesn't end up rather ordinary, like 'A Sky Full Of Stars' was imo. It's great live, but lacked 'gusto' and energy on the studio version, which I think was the result of trying to please everyone. Also, I think constant categorization will set yourself up for disappointment and impartiality against all of their upcoming work, because it might not be 'as heavy' as some previous Coldplay albums. They've hired a very experienced production/mixing team and could produce one of their finest albums.

Think he means as part of a Coldplay tour, as opposed to festivals
