Very difficult to be objective when listening to music. Wouldn't say impossible. You could just be listening to a band you haven't heard before but you'll eventually (and probably very quickly) give rise to some sort of liking or disliking of that music. Which is why pretty much any debate on here or any music forum is going to be like the GIF Gai posted the other day (Going in circles!)

Guy's trying to decide whether he likes it or not, haha! He's passed that onto his Son :P

Not sure what she means by comments. Youtube annotations maybe? But anyhow, 99.9% of videos on Facebook weren't originally uploaded on Facebook. Naughty Mr Zuckerberg, allowing all of this stealing! (I'll post on the video comments to make her happy ;) )

That would be perfect, if it means we get a music video for Up&Up :) Could be a different single for certain radio stations though. I think a similar thing happened before, with The Hardest Part and White Shadows.

I was delighted that they didn't play HFTW at Superbowl. Out of all the time Coldplay had allocated, they chose a selection of great songs. HFTW is extremely weak compared to the likes of VLV and Paradise imo. I think their aim was to showcase their career in a very short space of time and going from Yellow all the way to Up&Up (great album track minus the production) was a good choice. In an ideal world, they'd tell Beyonce and Bruno to do one and play all of these songs in full but hey!

Quality is not relevant I think, when it comes to the charts. Looking at the top 40 now, there's only a handful of decent tracks in my opinion. 10 years ago, could probably pick out 15-20 songs. It hasn't had any exposure really. I think the days of an album single charting on it's own merit are over, unless it's getting a lot of airtime / exposure. I predict it will do better than Princess Of China (and that got to #3 in the UK). It's the sort of track that will get played everywhere, especially with Beyonce's involvement.

For posting a video using the 'media' option, all you have to do is post the Instagram / Facebook (or other) link in the box and it will pull the ID from it. That's all you need to embed the video :) There wasn't an ddos-attack, it was a mixture of a database issue we've been having this week and largely the huge amount of traffic. A lot of it is to do with our Facebook video reaching millions! Added a forum link at the end of the vid and we've had at least 20,000 clicks from that :o Everything is starting to settle down now and Stephen's been working to fix the database issues.

Guess what's got more views than that? The video of the whole performance on our Facebook page. Has 1.4 million views and we've reached over 7 million people with the post! My jaw is still wide open haha! Nice HD pics :D The performance was great from the guys. I would prefer full songs and no Beyonce + Bruno but hey, was an awesome 5-6 mins :) There will be loads of media sites who don't like Coldplay or ignore their presence (Buzzfeed & BBC to name a few) but hey, it doesn't matter really, it's always been that way. Means they're doing something right :P A bit like Glasto 2012 when Coldplay smashed it but media reported on Beyonce instead, who many fans at Glasto said was underwhelming.
