Viva (the single that is when it leaked) was quite low key actually, came out one morning no one was expecting it, was just casually browsing the multimedia forum while at college haha then I was like 'whats this??' :) then the hype quickly built up!

I loved it :D Especially the ending with such a heavenly view and the instrumental at the end! Do you dance on your car for the other 300+ songs? :P

Its everything that is wrong with the music industry, no variety, they actually dictate whats in the UK charts and fill them up with more boybands like The Wanted who are signed to label of the Capital FM's owners, the presenters are cringeworthy. I die in frustration every time I hear it played and my family and friends buy into it and have it as their radio of choice, its really rife here in Birmingham, can't get away from it! I'm for freedom of choice, everyone having their own tastes etc... but having always had an interest in chart statistics, I have seen how much its damaged the diversity of the charts over here. /rant over :P

Amazing post! I love the comparison to movies, I love the feeling you get after watching one of those movies but with an album you can get that same feeling over and over and that's how I think "Ghost Stories" will feel. I'm really loving this album already and it might at some point overtake X&Y as my favourite album, maybe :P I have such a connection with "Always in My Head". I think the last songs to have that sort of connection were "What If" on X&Y and "Miracle Drug" by U2 who have always been my 2nd favourite band :)

I can't stand listening to Capital, worst radio station I have ever heard! They will play it at 7.30pm like the others so probably a mixture of XFM and Radio 1 for me :)

It wasn't fully confirmed, the head of Radio 1 tweeted it yesterday, we will know for sure when Zane Lowe comes on at 7PM

Oi no multi accounts :laugh3: The guy who is head of music at Radio 1 said it will be Zane Lowe's hottest record later (info will be on the main site shortly), its very reliable but it was also mentioned another track is the hottest record today not Coldplay so we will have to see!
