It's a relgious thing, marriage is viewed by many as only between a male and wife.

50% of marriages end in divorce these days, I want to be sure before I want to jump into anything. My advice is, live with the person for a while before you get married, that way you know for sure.

When my parents got separated, I felt that it was meant to be, it was a long time coming. My dad has...problems. I was hoping they would get separated to be honest. As for me, I've been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years now, and we've been living together for about 1.5 years. It's almost like we are married.... so there is no need to get married.

Funny that the owner of this thread made one post and then disappeared. And yes... number of posts are no way correlated with intelligence. ;)

I will be the first to tell you that I HATE when there are threads made about the same topic over and over, I am the Nazi of that on this board, most people do not care.. and will continue to pollute the board with excessive threads. It doesn't matter how old the thread was, what matters is when you SEARCH for this topic, the other thread does show up.

Now if only they can sack the rest of the members.
