MAYBE, they'll do what Scout Niblett did and release only 100 copies of the album and each version of a song is custom and different than each one who bought a another copy and do what she did and release it on 3'' CD format. :wink3: EDIT: Actually, say Major Minus (random song I know) was released as a single...they could actually do that like she did, have it a custom/different version than anyone else's copy out of the 100.

That...Radiohead's "Codex", Feist's "A Commotion", "Undiscovered First", "Comfort Me", and Bill Callahan's "Drover" and "America!" are all up there with me for 2011. Oh, and yeah..I have to say it. Foster the People's "Helena Beat" and "Houdini". Sorry people. Oh and when is Yeah Yeah Yeahs ever going to make a new album? And Cat Power's new album is still in the works. Also waiting on a Devendra Banhart album.

I can see why to some it may be a bit over-dramatic and corny but I kind of like it. Nice throw back to the 80's. :) Yeah, I'll have to hear it again. Plus I'll need to take a look at the lyrics before judging. I'm not saying I hate it, in fact I like all the songs but out of the ten I think that song and Calgary are my "least" favorites, and I don't think Lisbon, OH really counts...even though I still like all of 'em. ;) EDIT: Yeah, see, I just relistened to Calgary and I like it better already. Just need to do the same with the others.

I think I'm going to make a tribute video of The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and Oblivion for the anticipation of Skyrim with either of the tracks "Holocene", "Wash." or "Beth/Rest" on YouTube. Hmmmm. Random side note, last night I had a dream that Radiohead were playing at some small venue of like 30 people tops and I think maybe Feist was the opening band but I'm not sure and I got there early and Thom sat next to me on a couch while me and a few others, maybe Feist, were shooting the shit and then a bit later I went to the front of the stage to watch and right when they started playing I woke up. Was weird. But awesome. :( I love dreams. I've had some memorable one's. Some of them include accidentally hurting myself like falling off a waterfall and therefore accidentally kill myself but of course before I hit the water I woke up. Some of them include the beach and huge waves while everybody on the shore is running to get to safety. For some reason water plays a big part of my dreams. I still love those certain dreams, though. Thank god I have a pretty good memory to remember most of them. Too bad I don't dream as much as I used to as a younger person.

I might have to get me "Illinois" in the near future. Maybe I'll get "Songs for Christmas" when Christmas gets a bit closer. Anyway, onto hearing the Regina Spektor album I got tonight.

3 stars is considered "good" on a out of 5 scale. 3.5 is between good and great. So I'd say 3 stars is a pretty good score.

For a 40 minute album it seems like 10 minutes shorter for some reason, but great album. I'm feeling a strong 7/10 or a light 8/10. Leaning towards the latter and that may go up with a couple more listens. Need to listen to a couple more times of course. Love "Minnesota, WI", "Holocene", "Towers", "Michicant" and "Wash". Beth/Rest, Lisbon, OH (short instrumental) and Perth are up there as well. I like the first half of the album a tiny bit more.

Now I am confused. If you're talking about their latest record, I def. agree. Like I said, one of my favorite album cover's ever! "For Emma, Forever Ago" had very good artwork also but for that album, I think the self released artwork is a bit better like the one I posted. :) I love "Wash.", maybe because I'm from the Pacific Northwest...although that would be very embarrassing if he's talking about Washington, D.C. :embarrassed: I think "Hinnom, TX" might be my least favorite so far but that doesn't mean it's bad of course.

Oh, yeah...forgot to say this album might have my favorite album artwork ever. The first album artwork is good too, although I like the self released version better.

Just got Bon Iver's "Bon Iver, Bon Iver' and Regina Spektor's "Far". Goal accomplished. I'm going to delve into these tonight while talking to you guys. :) Next week I think I might get a combination of Bon Iver's "For Emma, Forever Ago", "Blood Bank" and Regina Spektor's "Begin to Hope", "Soviet Kitsch", "Live at Bull Moose" "Live in London" and Joanna Newsom's "Ys". :wink3:
