Download Lhuna (duet with Kylie) on Monday! [1/12/08 World Aids day]
yeah the fact is you're paying five dollars a week for two songs. One from a major artist that you MIGHT be into, and then one from an unknown artist that you MIGHT enjoy. I would gladly pay a few dollars for a new Coldplay song, but i don't think i'd like to overpay for other mediocre material from different bands.

How many people around you are crazy about Coldplay?
a lot of people "like them" but none like them enough to have even heard something like Shiver, much less I Ran Away or Warning Sign. Thats the real shame in Coldplay's perception. Everyone just thinks Speed of Sound and never heard any of the real classics like Amsterdam or Everythings Not Lost.

Triple M and iTunes observations
I guess i wouldn't be suprised if Death was a second album with re-interpretations of the same songs, like The Bravery did with their Sun and Moon versions. The only reason i say this is because of all the acoustic/different versions of the album tracks that seem to be floating around.

Should I get up for Violet Hill?
Unfortunately for me, the download comes out on the exact minute my school begins. Upside is, i have acsess to a computer first hour, hopefully it'll allow me to download it, although we do have complex filters.

MTV.COM Preview of Violet Hill(article)
Other then the maroon 5 comment, the song sounds almost Muse-ish, which in no way is a bad thing. The pounding chords that shift over to white noise and then piano, and then the queen comment just made me feel like thats where its headed.
