i know, i'm lucky cos my dad's mum was part of such a massive family that i have umpteen great aunties, who all looked after me when i was little (they all live in the same block of flats, and we used to live just round the corner - it was like something off the tv) so it's like i have millions of grandparents. :)

aww...i hope she gets better soon. i have one nan who can't really walk very well and who's just sort of..well...old really and the other one is perfectly healthy bodywise (although she smokes like a chimney and drinks whisky like there's no tomorrow) but senile, but between them they're fully functioning.

this album does seem to have really made an impression on people who i know who didn't like coldplay before, although some of them still, somehow, remain unimpressed :shock:

i still manage to hear them differently to everyone else - i guess it's a gift i have 8)

i love being out in the cold but knowing you're on your way home, where it's warm. and then you get in and put the fire on and some coldplay music and it's all cosy and great 8)

i LOVE weather like this. :D it was really sunny this morning, which was gorgeous and then we had torrential rain and stuff which i love too. and we had hail the other day. i love it when it starts getting wintery :D

i know! i don't even wanna think about it - it was bad enough when geri left the spice girls, i don't think i could cope with much more trauma :wink: :D

i'm sure my hidden desire to be a farmer's wife made me very special indeed :D
