160 kbps is really not that bad, although i expected better. i suppose they also had to look at how much traffic their servers could handle without crashing within the first 10 minutes. so...i'm just glad i'll get to hear the album, finally. besides, the difference between 160 and 192 kbps is very minimal, you probably won't even notice it anyway.

i don't understand why people are complaining. the shit on iTunes is only 128 kbps, i don't see anyone bitching about that.

yeah, that's cause some people are stupid enough to provide their credit card info for the free download. it's their bank that charges the transaction fee in that case, not WASTE. from a comment on stereogum: and i've seen quite a few similar reports. ;)

Radiohead
holy cow...right on, couldn't have said it better myself. p.s. i wouldn't spend money on a muse gig either. i'm sorry, i know there are people here who love them, but i just can't stomach their pretentious shit. there's a rather short list of bands that i hate with passion, and unfortunately muse is one of them. p.p.s. when is your birthday?

MEOWWWW MEOOOOOWWWW i hereby present to you the indisputable evidence that Thom Yorke is indeed a cat. and a very adorable one at that  http://youtube.com/watch?v=FdfE17yC2ck (Marek, you might wanna watch this one...lots of Jonny:sneaky:)

Radiohead
yeah, not too shabby. not my cup of tea though, to be honest. and isn't it, like, totally weird how he kinda looks like Thom, but both of his eyes are the same, and both nostrils are of the same size?! jeeze, what a creep.

Radiohead
yeah, Glastonbury 2003 was freaking glorious. found something on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=kt9jxzcAis0 it must really suck to be Thom Yorke's brother. no matter how good you are or how hard you try, you still will be overshadowed. i kinda feel bad for the guy...his own career never really took off, although his band was pretty good actually.

it's the only time they played Arpeggi with an orchestra... at Ether, and i could tell the track wasn't a studio recording, so in this case it was easy to put 2 and 2 together :P what baffles me is that the people at Pitchfork thought it was a studio recording when you could clearly tell it was a soundboard recording of a live performance. and these are the people who are getting paid to review music, eh? :sneaky: it looks like VERVE already got this covered. :D i can't wait either...i'm so infatuated with this band, it's insane...no, i don't think 'infatuated' quite describes it. i think 'obsessed' is the correct term. i spend enormous amounts of time on atease and watching radiohead videos on youtube. it's not healthy. :( RELEASE THAT FUCKING ALBUM, RADIOHEAD!! i need it, like a junkie needs his drug. :dozey:

Radiohead
no, it's the live performance by Thom and Jonny with the Nazareth Orchestra at Ether Festival in 2005.
