  1. For some reason I found this hysterical. :blank:
  2. how does this happen?
  3. Thing about bonnaroo is that the whole tent transportation and set up is loads easier with at least another person to help carry things, and just in general I expect it's safer with a buddy. I've generally preferred going to shows alone every since the coldplay concert where I had to keep shushing my college friend from yelling the lyrics to 42 in an out of tune nepali accent :dozey: .
  4. Hi guys! what cha'lls talkin 'bout?
  5. alright I'll quit with the memes. My awesome radiohead friend is poor and in a stupid place called college. The guy who last week I was sure would be going is a jack white fan, and just recently found out that the actual list(unlike the rumoured) didn't include him, and then there's this other guy, with whom my relationship I'll just say is complicated. I've heard it's no big deal to go alone, but wouldn't be opposed to a meetup with someone in the same sitch.
  6. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb9g0ksXEgo]U2 - Rattle And Hum (a short band interview) part 2 - YouTube[/ame]
  7. *dives down throat*
  8. I don't technically have a lock on someone to go with either, just good faith that one of my friends who is interested in going won't be a dick.
  9. Haha, calm down. Disagreement is not the same as bashing. I respect your right to have and voice your opinion. And I hope you respect my right to be incredulous about what you said.
  10. yeah, I should have gone ahead with the stronger claim as well. I defy everyone on this forum to listen to any three radiohead albums and tell me that they all 'sound the same', and thus that they are 'playing it safe' (In fact, I defy you to name three bands that change their sound MORE OFTEN). Not being a radiohead snob, just saying that, of all criticisms one could give, this is the least viable.
  11. No atom of my body will ever physically believe that you can hold this opinion.
  12. Expect a lot of exciting photos of strange instruments and roadie speculation about how it's going to be new, experimental, on the fringe of the avante-garde with bizarre time signatures, and crazy zen song-writing techniques pushed by Eno. Then expect to receive a surprisingly unoriginal and radio friendly pop album that defies those expectations.
  13. Bonnaroo bitches
  14. I...I just don't get why you couldn't have posted in the thread aptly titled 'the radiohead thread'. Mind bottling. Of course they're not the same. What exactly is there to discuss?
  15. I really have no idea what your plan will look like, so do whatev. itcho baby.
  16. Well the difficulty is that there are a pitload of b-sides and E.P. tracks (an avg. of 6 or 7 per album, 3 from safety, 3 from bros & sisters, 3 more new ones from blue room), meaning you'll be going for a ton of rounds after the albums are finished if you want to be comprehensive. Might then make more sense to go by release (X&y b-sides in one group etc.). But I hope you paid more attention to the first criticism.
  17. why not? Wait to completely ignore the obvious criticism that the more popular coldplay songs tend appear in the same parts of albums, thus you have the scientist, fix you, and charlie brown in one round, and then yellow, clocks, lovers in japan, and talk in the next. I am quite sure that all of these are probably among the top 10 most popular coldplay songs, meaning the 'final' will probably be a very uninteresting contest. Second, in your description you didn't give any impression that pre-parachutes or b-sides would be included. So how will it happen?
