Personally, the voice sounds a little old to be Guy's. But on the other hand, like everyone has said, we really haven't had a clear shot at hearing Guy sing. Maybe there is some possibility it's Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais? I know Simon Pegg has sung on 1'36".

Not sure if anyone has said this but it's most likely long because they're not gonna be around after their tour circuits for a while, I'm assuming. they're probably going to take a break. They've been talking about it for a while now. It was supposedly after X&Y, then VIVA. Who knows though, can't hold back creativity.

I had an old Squier Strat I wasn't using, so I thought, what the heck. it's not exactly like Johnny's, but it's pretty close.

I play bass and I have a Arctic White Fender J, I custom modded it with an ashtray and a pick up guard as well, it's pretty sweet, I really want to get Guy's P bass, though. but it works and I can't complain. I play through a Ampeg Classic SVT head and Ampeg 8x10 cab, you can say I shake things. I play coldplay-ish/U2-ish stuff www.myspace.com/travelliketrains we're in love with Coldplay.

I think a new Eisley album is supposed to be coming out also... I think Eisley should go back on tour with Coldplay. that would be one hell of a show.

I posted the reply in hopes I could maybe put more info out that people might not have known, that's why I prompted everyone before, I didn't read every post. I was hoping stuff people knew, they would bypass, and stuff people didn't know, they'd take in consideration, sorry about that.:\ For the preorder deal... I honestly like the re-assurance that I'm going to get the album no matter what, plus if the album doesn't come out in september, I won't have to go back and forth with where I need to go, when, why, how and all that crap... if the date ever changes, I know that I've pre-ordered it, and it will arrive whenever it releases, whether it be the 6th of september, or the 9th of december. and as 66 said, tax is dumb, and unless you wanna sit outside a rinky-dink k-mart for 2 days, I doubt you'll get the album on time anyway. I love Coldplay, but I don't feel like standing in line for a night or whatever to receive an album I can just as easily order from the world wide web. it's not lazy, if you live where I do, you wouldn't wanna stand in line either.:wink3: __________________

Well, I haven't read all of the post in this thread, but I do know that the Coldplay website is undergoing a new look... and I know that usually bands that are releasing a new album, dress up there website with the upcoming content. I don't know if anyone has seen the "Coldplay's site is under construction" but I tend to check back every once in a while. So an album release is very probable. I heard rumors from other forums saying that they might not be using piano in this upcoming album... which I don't get at all... because the piano makes their songs. other people have said they're not using any instruments... and Brian Eno will be appearing on most of there tracks, followed by Kraftwerk and some of the same genre. Honestly I like anything Coldplay releases, but not using piano and such might upset a lot of folks... I mean if we look back at their EP's and first album, their sound is nothing like their third album, it's still coldplay content, but it's more electronica so to speak... I mean we've seen their growth.. starting out with a coffee shop style, and starting to make there way towards using more electronical sounds and such, so maybe thoughs rumors are true? I personally don't like to think in that direction, but who knows. I have pre-ordered whatever album that's due to release on september, I hope it's a good one... and who else here thinks Coldplay should release another dvd? I mean, it's been what, 3 or 4 years since the last one... and I honestly love all the behind the scenes stuff, I like to see what they do, I have a band myself, and I like to pick up their notions and remedies and stuff.:D __________________
