Got all three shows now -- GOLD LOWER for the first two on March 3rd & 4th, and then GOLD STANDING for the 5th. I was nervous as. I felt like throwing up a little and I didn't know why, then I got the tickets, felt better and I realised; "...ah, nerves!..." And I am bloddy buggered. I may have over-budgeted time -- I got to Chaddy at 3 o' clock in the morning, and NO ONE else even arrived at 6am to collect their line number. Hehe, by the time I was actually able to purchase my tickets (after spending almost 6 hours there), there were only 17 number holders in the line. I felt so stupid... :P But I'm so relieved now. Counting down the days till March 3rd! :D:D:D

Got my tickets -- gold standing, too! Super, super happy. Got tickets to all three shows. I love Rod Laver, and being fairly small in size, I would say it's good viewing all 'round. Back in 2006, I was literally in the last row, right up the top for Coldplay, and the view was still pretty fantastic.

I assume that "Gold Floor Standing" is GA, so if you consider standing the best position, then I guess they are the best tickets for you... :D

Either way, I honestly wouldn't have cared. Back when I first saw them in '06, I was pretty much right at the back of Rod Laver and didn't sit down the entire concert. It did make me wonder if the people behind me were bothered... Meh.

What's the policy on cancelling tickets? I mean, what if a friend got one on the phone for you (in case you didn't get one on the internet), but then you were successful on the computer? Could you cancel one? Or would you have to sell it?

Yeah, well it was always my plan, but then the pre-sale... I just really wanted to secure tickets for the 1st night, and I got tickets exactly where I wanted them, so I'm incredibly happy about that! For March 4th, though, I was still clarifying all the details, and just decided I would go and physically buy my GA tickets. If I'm first in line (or close to), there will be no reason for me to miss out (that I can see -- I know it can happen, though). And it'll also ease my mind a little, knowing that I'll have done my best to get crap/good/great/whichever tickets! ;) (Forgot to add; even if it doesn't work out for people (me), eBay will be a god!) :D:D:D

I have a question: purchased reserved seating for this show, but there is no way I will be sitting during the concert. Wondering if this will be a problem?

Glad you got the tickets you wanted. :D TwistedCLOCKS -- saw your post in the 'Aussies...bought ur ticket?' thread, and yeah, as well as the 1st show, I'm going to the concert on the 4th, too. So, best way to buy tickets is to go and physically purchase them from an retailer? Doing that would make me feel far more confident and secure regarding actually getting tickets, so I guess I'll see some of you lined up and waiting on December 4th -- I'll be the one first in line at the Chadstone Newsagent... :P

Jesus. I almost died of heart failure. Purchasing tickets online is definitely NOT fun! You get 'Timeouts', 'Log Outs', pages that won't load, you can't click, not allowed to have tickets waiting in your basket while you look for more (better ones). Hehe, I actually got the shakes! :P I am unbelievably happy, though -- I got exactly what I wanted; 3 x Gold Lower, Section 1, Row C -- so not too far from the front of the section... :D StarsKay; Thanks! That'll help. :) You guys that are going GA, can you please make comment on waiting periods, lines etc. -- I'd really appreciate it! I'm waiting for the December 4th sale to get GA for the 2nd show. And then I'm almost certain that another show will be announced!
