  1. Jonnys side! haha i actually thought of you crazy girls when he walked down the ramp. to 'abisirg': i was 6th row in 13! but brady and gisele weren't in the same row as the rest of them. they were all in row 8.
  2. i agree. i think half of the reason i didn't like her was her idiotic dancers on the side. seriously i like couldn't even give her a chance because of them.

  5. on the left side of the stage, 6 rows back from the ramp on the left side. not floor but like 6 rows back in loge. really great seats. every time they came out on that ramp i could see like every detail in their faces. i could tell a few times that chris was scanning our section for gwyneth. another thing that was weird was everytime i looked down at the people on the floor i could see at least 10 people looking up in our direction just staring at gwyneth. i felt kind of bad for her. it must be hard to really enjoy the show when about 30 people are staring at you at ALL times!
  6. the girl i was with took some good pics and plenty of celebrity pics so whenever she puts them up i'll post them here. sorry i'm posting so much but i just keep remembering things!
  7. ok so.... here it goes. we got to our seats right around the end of santogold's act (great timing!) and then we were just sitting around waiting as you do at any concert. so then the girls next to us start taking pictures of a lady behind us so i asked who it was and they said kate bosworth. so i'm like... that's cool because she's famous but i don't really know her. so then these people come out from behind the stage and again the girls next to me are pointing and one of them yells GWYNETH! and then the whole crowd in our section and everyone in that corner of the floor stood up and gave her an ovation and she just kept coming closer and closer to me until shes sitting directly behind me just two rows back. i was shaking that i was in awe so much and right when i thought about shaking her hand and talking to her... the lights went down and my focus was completely diverted to coldplay. life in technicolor had so much energy tonight and i could tell right off the bat the show was going to be incredible. the crowd went nuts during violet hill and at the end chris said 'now this is gunna be a REALLY GOOD ONE!' i got the biggest chills when he said that because i know he only says that if he means it. clocks seemed a lot better tonight because he did more with the vocals... went higher at some parts... it was great. the sold out crowd was IMMENSE during the chorus of in my place. viva la vida was better and i don't even know why. but i just enjoyed it a lot more. yes was the same. a little bit of low energy but the jam sesh at the end is just SO INCREDIBLE. i could watch that over and over there is just so much energy in it. 42 was great. i looked at gwyneth during it and she was singing all the words! fix you was like... hartford times 20 (2732 aka nick... you would have died). the crowd LOVED it and chris did his hopping on stage and sang the end of it SO BEAUTIFULLY!! chinese sleep chant was dull again. i know some people out there like this song but i just don't get it! really i dont get how they play this live and not cemeteries!! but GPASUYF was cool again and he added in some lyric about 'playing down in massachusetts' (anyone remember it exactly??). the one area of the show that was worse than hartford was that they replaced square one/hardest part with speed of sound. it was nice to have at least one change but i was really looking forward to hearing square one again!! Lost! was great... crowd knew it really well. chris put a great ending on it. i think it was before this song that he talked about all the monday night TV we were missing and he mentioned home improvement and SEINFELD and everyone in my section looked back at him and laughed and i swear we made eye contact!! scientist was beautiful... bigger crowd = more amazing NOBODY SAID IT WAS EASYYYYY. before death will never convquer chris wouldn't stop talking about how amazing will was and then he said 'ok now i'll shut the fuck up' it was hilarious. back on stage politik was INCREDIBLEEEEEE. like FUCKING INSANE!!!!! i like came close to getting emotional during OPEN UP YOUR EYYYYYES. the piano solo as usual was stunning. lovers in japan was just as good but a tad less for me than hartford because i was on the floor at hartford so i got the confetti. but at one point he came down the ramp in front of us and pointed to gwyneth!! after LiJ gwyneth and her crew left. then chris dedicated death and all his friends to tom brady!!! haha at the beginning he messed up the lyrics and said ah fuck. crowd went nuts and he started again. it was BEAUTIFUL. he added so much to the vocals and the instrumental build up was crazy yet again. i couldn't even breath during the NO I DONT WANNA BATTLE... becaue i was jumping up and down so much. chris said a long goodbye and then they left. the lights stayed down for awhile and i was really hopeful for another encore but it never came! i'm really not that disappointed and i thought i would be but that shows how amazing the show was! other thing i can remember: chris said the boston fans were better than all the other shows combined!! :D after the scientist he talked about how his harmonica playing was pointless and didn't sound good. chris said before the scientist that he wrote the song after spending a steamy night with condeliza rice!! it was hilarious! when the crowd was singing during either in my place or fix you chris said "you can HEAR all the Irish blood out there!!" ahhh that's it for now! i'm sad its all over but i'm still in such a buzz from the show. amazing amazing amazing and that's all i can say!
  8. i literally could have touched gwyneth paltrow. she was in the same seat as me but two rows back. like... it was insane. i don't even know where to start with the show.
  9. holy fucking shit. i sat.... TWO.... ROWS... IN FRONT OF GWYNETH, SEINFELD, AND KATE BOSOWORTH. THE SHOW WAS INCREDIBLE. 100 TIMES BETTER THAN HARTFORD (sorry hartford buddies). I WILL ELABORATE MORE IN A SEC. I HAVE TO PEE. HOLY SHIT.
  10. i'm off to boston to get something to eat! :D ahh I"M SO EXCITED!! i'm wearing a light blue (teal almost) tshirt and brown khaki shorts so if you think you see me say hi! be on after to give a review! VIVA!
  11. came onstage at about 9:15 in hartford! dunno if it will be the same though!
  12. i was at the manchester show!! buttt I'M SO FREAKING EXCITEDDWKLARJWIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously we have to be SO LOUD!! i want roadie 42 to write on coldplay.com and talk about how special our show/crowd was!! see you allll tonight!! :D:D
  13. yea it's definately from some classical tune. i've been trying to find out too. i remember seeing it in another thread but now i completelyy forget!
  14. i'll probably have good pics and videos of boston because the girl i'm going with is bringing her camera. anyway... i'd say we got 20 songs. escapist is just a recording so i wouldnt count that. but fix you was really good. idk it didnt blow me away like some of the other songs last night but it was still amazing.
  15. hartford was awesome but i know for a FACT that boston will be better. i know our crowd will be nuts and i just feel like they will put on more of a show because boston is such a major city and it's their last show. a little over a day to go!!
  16. yeah i didn't bring a camera. i never do to concerts. i don't want to have to worry about that while enjoying a show!
  17. justtt got home! 215am! the show was amazing. idk i wasn't really insulted by the lack of a second encore. the show was fucking incredible and it didnt need another encore to make it any better. (i agree santogold sucked too but i expect opening bands to suck so i didn't really mind. get there later if you don't want to sit through some obnoxious music!). The highlight for me was chris on piano doing the hardest part. it really was BEAUTIFUL! but no one in the crowd fucking knew it so he stopped before finishing and took a shot at the citizens of hartford saying 'it's not a big enough hit for a saturday night in hartford'. i was REALLY upset at everyone there because i was enjoying it SO MUCH. i really wanted to like go on stage and tell chris 'no i appreciate this so much please don't stop!' hahaha but he actually made fun of the connecticut/hartford fans a lot which i thought was really funny since i'm from boston. he said something like 'it's great to see you all support the biggest FRENCH band in the world'. He was refferring to themselves but probably thought half the people in the crowd didn't really know where they were from. anyway...aside from chris being his usual funny self... the rest of the music was great. i fucking FLIPPED when square one started. such a nice surprise! the end of it with chris and piano was bone chilling. oh and i was on the end of my aisle on floor so when they ran by to go into the stands for the acoustic section i touched ALL FOUR of them! a nice pat on chris's sweaty back was probably the highlight for me! hahahaha... politik was incredible. so much energy and so much emotion in the closing piano solo. the confetti on lovers in japan was even better than i imagined. i was disappointed because at first none was near me at all and i was in the middle of the floor and then after the second refrain just GALLONS of it started pouring out and i got a ton of it! it looked beautiful in the lights and it like glowed in the dark! life in techinicolor was a pretty good opener. not as good as politik and sqaure one but i was so excited that i did get a little teary eyed during it. the only points where there seemed to be low energy were yes and chinese sleep chant. at the end of yes they had a little jam sesh which pretty much saved the song and pumped everyone up before 42. crowd was great on in my place and fix you. but not too many knew the new songs. strawberry swing really took me by surprise. I haven't been listening to it at all lately and i wasn't particularly looking forward to it but it ended up being one of my favs. death and all his friends was an AMAZING closer!!! seriously it was so good. chris's piano part is one of the best on ANY song theyve ever had live and when the song picks up and the big VIVA is revealed in the back there is so much energy!! haha i know this 'review' is really out of order and crazy but i'm SO TIRED and im just talking about things as i think about them. i'm PSYCHED to see them again monday in boston and i'm expecting it to be even better!
  18. ummm the fact that i'm seeing coldplay tonight.............?????
