ok well i'm a senior in high school and for the senior section in our yearbook everybody has a quote that usually has something to do with the future or leaving high school behind or leaving friends etc etc... idk hopefully you get the jist of it. so for my quote i want to use something from either a coldplay song or a radiohead song but i'm having issues finding something good... anyone have any ideas??

saying the economic problem will help mccain in the election is just blatantly ignorant. there have been dozens of polls that have been released which ask "who do you trust more when it comes to the economy?" and it usually comes back somewhere around 65% for obama and 35% for mccain. plus without those polls its a known fact even by mccain supporters that his weakness is the economy. he was very recently quoted as saying our economy was fine. plus he voted with bush 90% of the time which is who is responsible for getting us in this mess. so please... id really LOVE to know how you think the economic crisis helps mccain in anyway.

uggh i know! i was thinking the same thing. they arent even throwing in square one anymore. hopefully they start changing it again for the US tour or SOMETHING. they really got me excited with chris playing the beginning of amsterdam but all he did was get our hopes up. their setlists continue to frustrate me.

i keep asking the oracle about the other songs from the viva la vida recording sessions. because we heard so many different song titles so im just interested to know which ones had their titles changed and stuff like that. i.e. leftrightleftrightleft = prospekts march? and then we learned later how rainy day become part of death and all his friends. so im just curious if anything else like that happened....

i love this song but to be honest i think it's a little too boring to be remembered a bunch of years from now. plus, it will probably never be released as a single so a lot of people will never end up hearing it which is sad. when i get older and i may not listen to music as much i think the one coldplay song i will always remember will be Viva la Vida. that song has seriously changed my life. even though i usually dont like their HUGE songs as much (such as clocks) because i feel like all the radio time and fake fans can sometimes ruin them... this hasnt happened at ALL with me for viva la vida which truly says something in itself. i dont think i could even and will ever get sick of that song.

anyone else get wicked sad when you listen to this because it reminds you of the end of the concert....?

jeez everyone relax. i thought most people would REMEMBER this thread so it wouldn't cause any confusion. i was just saying that i think it should get the award for best thread.

the thing is i seriously dont understand AT ALL why they dont REGULARLY play amsterdam. i mean maybe it never made it to the radio (which is a good thing) but it's without out a doubt one of or THE BIGGEST fan favorites! it might not be known by some nub coldplay fans who just hear them on the radio but out of the REAL coldplay fans who actually know all of their songs i'd say its defiantely in the top 5 favorites. ive always wandered why they seem to cater more to their mainstream audiences at concerts rather than the true fans who would absolutely DIE for a song like amsterdam or see you soon or warning sign and i could go on for ever about this but i'm gunna stop. so please coldplay... just fucking play amsterdam.
