what the helllllllll!! this is crazy. i can't believe they just tacked on more song! i'm psyched about poppy fields. who wouldve though 'now my feet won't touch the ground' was a different song than strawberry swing?!?! so what do we think about prospekts march/poppy fields? is it one song with two titles? or is it gunna be like lovers in japan/reign of love with the hidden track?

i was unsure about the line in the refrain 'cling to the mast' but if you look on the artwork that came in the 'viva la vida' booklet those lyrics are clearly written there. so what we have for the refrain is definately 100% right. its just that 3rd verse we need to figure out...

yea they mean prospekts march is gunna be released earlier than they previously thought. so both of the EPs will be released in november but im guessing they will be on different dates. and i agree that they did it to sell albums before christmas... and pris i am also VERY surprised about famous old painters. by the way they talked about it i really thought it was one of the stronger songs. maybe it got renamed or something... this definately made my day though i'm so excited.

fuckkk. they took out amsterdam!! why why whyyy please put it in for the US tour!!! ugh i need to stop getting my hopes up that theyll start playing this. now that i know the EP will be out as soon as november i'm not sure i want them to play glass of water live before i hear the studio version... i wouldn't mind it though i guess.

holy shitttt!!! im seriously so excited by this!! a. i'm really surprised we are getting LiT with lyrics because i thought they would save that for the next LP but i am SOOOO excited to hear that!!! b. i'm really surprised rainy day is on it because they hardly ever talked about that song and one of them said in an interview that it was made part of DAAHF c. i hope postcards from far away has lyrics d. i want to know the exact date!! but overall this is such exciting news and im so happy they finally announced it formally... yea without a doubt if i could add any song to the setlist it would be amsterdam. seriously i think i would start having a seizure if they played it at my concert. i've never heard it live and i want to sooo damn bad. the thing is it really is one of their most popular songs among the diehard fans so it surprsises me they don't give it more attention. ahhh i really hope they play this.

that's the stupidest thing i've ever fucking heard. mccain has voted with bush 90% of the time. that is a fact. obama on the other hand is the most liberal member of the senate. sure some of the money he's gotten has been corrupt but that fact alone does not make him bush's third term. bush is a diehard conservative so don't try to tell me the most liberal member of the senate is going to turn out to be a conservative president. therefore it is more likely that mccain will be bush's 3rd term. which i think is a dumb concept to be thrown around anyway because i think both of them will be better than bush. no offense 'mrcool' but your posts are getting more and more ridiculous by the day. youre only trying to ruffle the feathers of all of the obama supporters on here. you claim you think both politicians are bad yet you have yet to take a negative stance against mccain. its always just obama. yea i definately understand why youre mad. i still have another concert ahead so i can still be hopefuly that i will get a setlist like this one but i can understand how after getting the standard setlist you feel a bit cheated. it boggles my mind that they still get away with playing ths same exact setlist for an entire tour. thats one of the reasons why i still respect radiohead's live shows a ton more than coldplays. theyll light show is actually BETTER than coldplay's yet they can still completely switch up the order of their songs every night. plus rather than play their mainstream hits (high and dry, creep etc) they instead play the song that they know the true fans actually like. coldplay on the other hand pretty much only play their big hits and ignore such songs such as warning sign, see you soon and amsterdam which are CLEARLY the TRUE fan favorites. sorry to completely go off on coldplay (especially on a night where they actually decided the change it up a bit) but i understand why strawberry swinger is mad because that makes me mad too!

holy crap. just watched that video of don't panic. that was SOOO nice. wow i'm so jealous this has to be the best setlist of the tour yet. throw in amsterdam or warning sign and we've actually got what we've been waiting for!
