Yeah absolutely. I agree with you on that. That album can't be replicated every again by anybody. Its absolute perfection (In my opinion of course, others will disagree lol).

That is probably my favorite song by them. I think Viva La Vida will always be my favorite because it was my first album release and era. So the nostalgia is a huge part of it for me.

Your not the only one! Viva is still my favorite for the time being, but after a few listens, I am really loving this album more and more. Its definitely up near the top for me. Its really great and it is going to be awesome live :D

Exactly this. I feel like this is the last dancey pop album as Chris won't be able to dance around and sing forever. I mean he is already losing his breath pretty fast. So this is a good time to get that last run in there. After this it will probably die back down and we will see him on the piano and guitar a lot more.

Yeah exactly. There is some meaning behind it lol. But definitely still bad compared to The Scientist, or other older stuff really lol. These lyrics are more meaningful as Chris has put that effort in to really mean what he says. But they are not as crafty as they used to be, but I have no control over it, so the best thing to do is to just take it for what it is and enjoy it :)

Normally I would say no and the first time I heard it, I was like WTF? But after hearing him say that life's a drink and love's a drug, I get what he means. He's not flat out saying I get drunk and get high. He is saying that he is drunk and high on life and love. Buy yeah, either way The Scientist has better lyrics lol.

Yeah I noticed this too. I truly believe he means what he says, but I miss the more abstract lyrics. The lyrics now, are a bit more straight forward, however there are some good ones on the album. My least favorite is the "my heart, boom boom boom boom". The songs feel a bit more lovey than older ones, and I think it is because of the lyrics. The Scientist is a love song, but the lyrics are amazing imo. Its not straight forward "I love you, come back to me. We are meant to be" kind if stuff. Its more abstract and executed much better. The Scientist is a perfect example of a love song with the ooooh oooh's that does it very well. Were as some of the newer ones don't do it as well.

Same for me, but I also am really loving Fun. I know that song has a bit of mixed opinions from everyone, but the guitar in the beginning is just so awesome. It also helps I had really low expectations for this song. I was pleasantly surprised though.

I hope so because I am craving more new stuff! [emoji23]

Exactly! I used to be like that, but you have to be a little critical. That being said, I will always love Coldplay and will respect everything they do, though I may not absolutely love every single thing they do... If that makes sense [emoji13]

I agree with that. I was expecting a constant upbeat album with how Chris was describing it, but some songs sound like they should have been on Ghost Stories. I'm not complaint though. I love Everglow. It just sounds like Chris is still working through things. They said it best when they said Ghost Stories is the night, and A Head Full Of Dreams is the day. Hopefully we will see something completely different with LP8. Chris isn't going to be able to jump around like he does forever and he knows that. He probably wanted to do another record with dancier songs while he can still move to them. Anyway, I'm enjoying this era for now. The tour is going to be amazing.

I don't know who does lol. The most cringe part about that song though, is the boom boom boom line. That's something a teen pop star would have in their song.
