  1. I'm with you, Viva is not my favorite song, but I like it more than The Escapist, and as someone else stated above, Vivas lyrics are truly amazing.. I vote The Escapist
  2. Guess to clarify a bit more, I feel like GS and Miracles made all instruments solely a background, nothing special to take the focus aside from vocals.. Examples: Jonny's In my place riff, every teardrops riff, major minus ending riff! Chris piano in clocks, the bass in God Put A Smile and the drums in Violet Hill and HLH.. Those moments, when complementing great vocal is what I think Coldplay does best. When their songs have more than just a background for Chris's vocals
  3. Only hope that there's a lot of focus on the music as well as the vocals, cause that's the one thing I missed in Ghost Stories, it was all about the vocals in my opinion, and sadly most of the vocals were not even that great. I want J's guitar hooks, Guy's groovy basses and Wills intricate rhythms back, just hope they didn't "dumb" these down to make something super pop focused..
  4. Hmm I's get The Escapist out before Viva, but it looks like my vote for it won't weigh much.. The Escapist
  5. I'm half with you, prefer 42 to Viva, but think I prefer Viva to Rainy Day. And my vote's for Lost! again
  6. I feel you, I feel you so much.. It sucks to abandon the excitement last minute to realize another week went by, and then the next week begins and it feels never ending
  7. Hmmm.. Ok this time I'll also join on the Lost! vote
  8. Ahhh, this is so insane, we've been hoping for official news, told something would be released when it wasn't countless times.. It's such a roller coaster waiting for a day and then nothing happens. The idea of having to wait for another rumor, and possibly an entire week again is just a bit exhausting, like waiting for Christmas not knowing when it happens, how crazy would it make a kid! Haha..
  9. Agreed, I too would root for an experimental Coldplay album with more stuff along the "A Spell a Rebel Yell" lines. Actually thought that's where they'd be heading following Viva.. Oh well. I vote for Reign of Love again..
  10. Woah, woah, that's quite a statement. HLH is one of my all time favorites. I kinda doubt it'll top it, but I'll take this as a strong sign of the song being quite surprising, unique and upbeat..
  11. Wow, this voting is going marvelously well in my book.. Hmm lets see let's see, I pretty much like every song left. I'll go with Reign of Love
  12. A couple of days!! Best news I've read here in a long time! [emoji120][emoji120][emoji120]
  13. Another for Death Will Never Conquer
  14. Oh boy, guess I had my hopes up with the Rolling Stones article stating a Fall release.. It's just cause my life's a bit of a mess right now and can't even start to think how much worse it'll be by December + the horrible winter weather.. But oh well, guess it will be something to distract me from the bad things.
  15. I'm also not a fan of Death Will Never Conquer, so that'll be my next vote..
  16. Ah this is gonna be the toughest to go through, it is my favorite album, it showed me that pop songs didn't have to follow the same formula all the time, to me they proved themselves worthy and pushed their boundaries in the best possible way up to date.. That said, shouldn't we just eliminate the short instrumentals first, like Postcards? My vote goes for that one first. Postcards from far away

Is this speculation? Not sure why they would play a "floating" song at this point in time..

Well, not sure that song gives away anything about the new direction of AHFOD, it kinda sounds like a song off of Ghost Stories mixed with Christmas Lights, nothing we haven't heard before.. Just a nice, ok song without any novelty in my opinion. Nice to listen to but not one that would turn me into a crazier Coldplay fan..
  19. Quite moving, especially on that singalong bit, nice guitar..
  20. Woot, we got the new tune in the end.. Which seemed to been written for this event, so fitting.. Do I love it, not yet, but def an enjoyable tune
  21. Uhmm ok, is covering OneDirection with Atiana worst than Rhianna and Princess of China? I guess this cover isn't bad acoustic as they are playing it.. But still!
  22. Damn, hope the broken piano doesn't mean no new song :/
  23. That be a dream, I so hope they do, I've loved every opening song since AROBTTH

Must admit I wasn't a fan when I quickly heard it while I was on the go earlier today, but now hearing it back with more of a relaxed time, I'm feeling this. Hope we get to hear it in full tomorrow, and (fingers crossed) a new intro too cause I'm greedy :P
