what are you getting shitty for i'm pointing out that coldplay is of little relevance in the lounge, i'm sure those that are interested have the songs for themselves to listen to. it's been mentioned already by at least one person more privately that they felt your first post in this thread was a subtle dig at those who didn't listen to them. spamming the thread with coldplay songs makes it seem the actual issue at hand irrelevant or that people's feelings don't really matter, because COLDPLAY. ETA: i don't think i'll be leaving anytime soon either, and also would like a contact with the folks considering leaving, you guys are cool people ETA2: look i am sorry if my comments were rash and hurt you. i'm a bit upset by this actually and many other people are too.

It also makes me think, I've been PMed twice I think for comments about mods/mod decisions, even if one was legit an error. It was more a 'we don't like this' deal but how many of those were actual warnings

You must really like arguments - and that's me saying that But if like you said it was something insensitive that you said, should we then just stop calling each other out on saying hurtful stuff? I am really against tone policing in those situations because people would have every right to feel offended if someone else said something really ignorant or bigoted. Where is the line drawn?

All the other incidents probably weren't reported... that's the thing. Mainly just speculating here but if it was reported the mods can't really ignore it considering all those past warnings (even if imo it was very tame compared to things that have been said here before)

It's not something to think about because he doesn't. He doesn't do that with anyone going to the house. While I feel some may have gone too far in their criticism, if you feel like shit I hope you are reflective enough to realise that this may be in fact because you are now aware that what you did (if you did, indeed, do it) was a bit inappropriate, instead of trying to play the victim and blame everyone else. There is no shame in owning that you did something wrong, I myself have said many things in my more avid fan days that were probably inappropriate and learned from it.
