  6. i popped in and was about to babble about how it was weird actually forgetting coldplay were here for a visit and not being too fussed about not seeing them then i see they played swallowed in the sea and don't panic goddamnit why do i do this to myself. i still am not too fond of a majority of the new stuff so is not too bad. also i would have had to subject myself to in my place, but acoustic might improve it tbh.
  7. Yossarian? Izzat you? It's been 400 years, my brother.
  8. WELL this is what happens when i dont visit for 3 weeks
  9. rip I was in Sydney in May I do know people in Sydney though. PM me with your Facebook so I can add you + tag in post signal boosting for you. I'm sure one of them would be curious for the opportunity to put a certain stache on a watermelon.

  11. a few years later i can manage contacts just fine, what a surprise
  12. can anyone find the floor plan on their website? trying to see where some of the tickets would place you but for some dumb reason it appears not to be up on live nation ETA: also im glad theres not a huge price hike, i was scared of that but looks very reasonable
  13. cool that aus dates are out but eeeewww stadium concerts...
  14. Does Don't Panic count because that's my all time fave otherwise gime sommodat amsterdam, we never change, everything's not lost
  15. The only reason I find this hard to believe is In My Place being second. Otherwise it's kinda known that Coldplay like to stuff their setlists with whatever's on the latest album and maybe have a few throwbacks to older albums with the old singles. Which is why it seems slightly odd that they'd remember Green Eyes exists or bother to play the snorefest UATW, but anyway.
  16. uh shit stuff i'd keep from the new albums in no particular order hurts like heaven charlie brown fly on / up with the birds (mix these two together a bit to make a double track might be ok) another's arms always in my head oceans ink (MOAR EMOTION PLZ) adventure of a lifetime magic (which i honestly think could be made significantly better if the vocals had just a bit more of a raw warm feel ala parachutes rather than how squeaky clean they sound) you could probably forge a bit of a narrative with these in the right order. keep in mind ive listened to the new album once and forget most of the newest stuff
  17. man it's like bart has never been unreasonable in a post before
  18. I dunno if you guys can really say they showed off a bit of their old stuff when they did... hm... sang about two lines of Yellow, Clocks piano riff, and then the weird mishmash of Fix You and Up&Up (which sounded like something out of bizzaro world to me but anyway) There's more to those songs than... those bits... I mean same goes for the new songs where they sang a verse and a paragraph. Bit depressing that everyone apparently has the attention span of a goldfish
  19. If I had to take an educated guess it would be something to do with introducing ColdplayVEVO and shifting all the stuff from EMI's channel over to there. Don't have anything to back it up though
  20. You can't just wave someone's hurt away by saying that you didn't intend to, unlike what most company apologies would have you believe
  21. Oops! Just recently there is a big fuss in Australian media as two white men dressed up as Aboriginals to an 'Australian icon' party. ------ I personally find the video awkward similarly as I did Rihanna having a billion arms in PoC but hold my tongue as I feel like it's not really my place to decide.
