I don't play. I think if I got into it I'd end up sinking heaps of time into it without being particularly good, my reflexes are most certainly not the best, nor am I a quick thinker. At least I am kept away by the facts that a) my laptop can't run it, b) I wouldn't be able to download the updates particularly quickly (1GB would take several hours) and c) my internet connection isn't very good and people would probably whine at me about ping. Oh and d) I just spent moneys on a new laptop, need to not spend moneys on skins etc

Despite the name 'Liberal Party' - they are rather conservative or right-wing. OP points out some of those policies - repealing carbon and mining tax, reducing foreign aid, expanding paid parental leave (I think this heavily favours the mother taking it tho). Another rather sore point around my social circle lessening the extent of the work undertaken with the National Broadband Network (replacing our 30ish-year-old copper system with fiber) by making it fiber-to-the-node (a cabinet that serves a neighbourhood) instead of Labor's to-the-premises plan. Not to mention all the creepy sexist comments Abbott has made... saying one of his female candidates has 'sex appeal' (don't remember if this was an appeal to voters to vote for her) and trying to appeal to Big Brother housemates by saying 'I'm the one with the attractive daughters'. He is a lizard man. Well, in my thoughts anyway, I shall call him the lizard man. Let's not forget though that Rudd had equally as harsh and racist policies planned on asylum seekers... especially those arriving by sea. As far as I am aware he did not look to reverse the cuts the previous Labor PM that he replaced (Julia Gillard) made to single parents allowance from social welfare, making them start on smaller payments when their kids reached 8 instead of 16. In most respects his views on other things were a bit better but by lordy-loo was it the lesser of two evils. Seems like the instability the Labor party had cost them more than Liberal winning people over with their policies, I don't know how the bumbling campaign of Liberal would have been the number one reason apart from the fact that they pointed fingers at Labor and screeched 'TEH INSTABILITY!!! SHUUUUN!!!!'

Monetization =/= partnership. One of my friends got offered partnership I think by a related company and only got an offer of 60/40 so that is pretty good for you. Mostly from what you have said I would be wary of only being able to do covers of artists signed to UMG... you will have to sign a contract as a part of partnership and they may force this. Read it carefully I'm not sure about partnership otherwise

Oh god... I think we can safely say the grump from the Loungers and WoM people was the highest directed at a Coldplay album for MX. Then again, I don't know if there was any irritation with X&Y which is the closest comparable album in terms of how people seem to regard it here. Yeah I could agree on some people just giving up, not hard to see why they might think they weren't being catered for anymore. Some of the people I knew that used to frequent WoM have just drifted apart. I remember things really died down around the time deaths_friend disappeared

That is one of the big gripes I am having with Coldplay recently. They know their strengths, and they know what is successful, but sometimes they almost lean on it like a crutch in songs. Repetition in lyrics bugged me at first when it was spread over multiple songs in an album but now it's expanded to this it grates me more. It's certainly not as bad as recent prime examples (Paradise, ETIAW) at least To expand: I don't think it's a bad thing that they utilize their strengths, but when it's just done in the same ways... hrm. It's hard to explain.

not bad. a step up from recent stuff. intro is best part though i can't make out the words at certain points and wish the lyrics were a bit better (i knew they were simple when they were first revealed tho) i will give it a solid 7, i liked it and probably would listen again. the singing style seems to hark back more to AROBTTH stuff, don't know where people are getting X&Y from.

i may or may not have put a preorder on the pokemon x&y red 3DS XL the day after it was announced (which was when the shops were closed here)... and fully paid it off that will be 3DS no.2, the first one is an original one with a capture board on the back for recording footage and making vidyas ehehehe bad consumer still i wanted the BLUE one. but the blue they put on it was shit. so no blue for me.
