Pretty sure it goes What if there was no light, nothing wrong, nothing right....
  2. Ray of hope: If a bunch of people from NY don't confirm their tickets or whatever, they'll probably send out a new round to people from other regions.... Maybe?
  3. Yeah, it's going to be amazing, unwrapping the album, sliding the disc into my computer, turning out all the lights, kicking back in my hammock, and just listening to it for a couple hours straight. Ahhhh. Soon, so soon.
  4. Oh, it is sooo dang hard to stare at a list of files that I could listen to with the click of a button, so easy, so smooth, so painless...... But I won't. I'm staying strong. Dang, it's hard though.
  5. Yeah, true, but maybe something along those lines? Like, this music academy down the street from me has this guitar jam for adult musicians, 18 and older. Maybe there's something similar where you live, I don't know...
  6. Hey, I just had an idea....this might seem a little odd, but check out a youth group at a local church or community center or something. I don't know why, but musicians seem to populate places like that. I'm part of a couple different youth groups, and there's a ton of musicians. Also, it's something to do if you're bored ;).
  7. The problem with the Internet is you can never help anyone out really. If you lived around me, I'd totally hook you up with some talented people who I know want to be in a band. Well, I guess all I can do is wish you the best of luck, and I hope you get to start a band. You can get what you want, all you have to do is try. P.S. That's a brilliant quote: "faith is all we got sometimes". So true...
  8. I know how you feel, and like, I don't know 100% yet, I'm only 18. All I can tell you is that I'm going to do my very best to live by that, I have been trying now for a while, and so far, it's been awesome. I might not have lots of money in the bank, but I'm starting to go somewhere. Like, just a couple weeks ago, I made a music video for a girl, and she liked my work, so she recommended me to another musician, so who knows where that will go? And I lost money making the video for the girl, I only got paid $100, and that barely covers gas and equipment rental, let alone the hours of work I put into it. But it got me somewhere, so that's what counts! And I enjoyed every step of the way, you know. So yeah, I can't promise you that things are going to work out, but....just have a little faith, I guess. EDIT: Check this out, I just got this email as I was writing this: "I was thinking of getting you to shoot all of the artists in this outdoor festival in Paris. It's on June 6 and 7. I'm going to talk to the guy who's putting it on and maybe, we all can pitch in to pay you." :).
  9. Probably because this one girl in my life is becoming more and more special to me, and yeah, it's really making me think about life and what I'm doing, and I'm getting really inspired. Thanks for the compliment :).
  10. Ohh yeah, laziness is like, my worst problem. It drags me down so muchh, it's not even funny. I've got a whole bunch of stories about when laziness screwed me over, here's the worst: Last year in Grade 11, I had a whole bunch of assignments due by June 30th, the end of the school year, because I'm homeschooled and can basically do whatever I want as long as I finish the semester on time(I have to like, send in essays and tests to a teacher, or whatever). So, I also wanted to go to Ottawa for the weekend with a friend, but since I had been lazy basically the whole school year, I had like, 20 assignments due in one week. So, me, being the smartest kid ever, decided to just cheat and use essays from the net or whatever, since there was no way I would have been finished on time. So, I handed in like, 20 assignments that were just downloaded off the internet and modified a bit. Well, yeah, you guessed it, I got caught, and I basically failed two of my courses, and almost got kicked out of that system altogether, and my parents were really disappointed and such, and it was horrible. Yeah, that's my story.
  11. I don't want to be a jerk or anything, so let me know if this is out of my bounds, buttt.... Money is way less important than doing what you love. If you want to enjoy life, then just keep it simple: Do what you enjoy. People will tell you that you need money and stuff, but you know what? You'll get by. You'll be ok. Doors will open for you that you had no idea were even possible if you just....stop being someone who's just the average 9-5 office job type, and start being someone who is living out the life that they have the potential for. Don't be afraid of getting hurt, or knocked down, as long as you're reaching for that ultimate goal, you'll get there in the end. Anyways. Don't sue me if you end up a hobo, which I probably will, but, that's my view on life :P. I really hope I don't sound like I've got it all figured out or whatever, but I just....believe this so strongly, you know? Like, so many people don't do what they love because they're afraid they won't have money, or nobody will like them or whatever, and that's such BS. Just do it. Ahh, ok, I'll stop now.
  12. I think you've got to find something you love, or something you've always dreamt about doing, and just go for it. Screw it if it's impossible, do whatever it takes. My dream is to make films, and I'm damn well going to do it, too. It takes a lot of work, so you can't be lazy(which I am :S), but it's so worth it, and when you look back on this part of you're life, you're not going to say that you wasted it, you're going to be like, yeah, I followed my dreams. Even if you fail, at least you won't have any regrets.... Mmmm.....I just thought I'd pop in to say follow your dreams, and then I got all passionate, sooo.....feel free to just ignore anything that doesn't make sense or whatever.
  13. Are you kidding me?! Parachutes is like, in the top three of that list, at least. Yeah, a haze, a stormy haze I'll be round I'll be loving you always, always Here I am and I take my time Here I am and I wait in line always, always Brilliant! *sigh*, well, I suppose it is a tad short....

  18. Dang. I'll have to get one of my friends to buy me some tickets. Thanks for the info!
  19. Hey does anybody know about what time on June 14th the tickets would go on sale? I have to shoot a wedding that day, so I won't be around, but if it's midnight, then I'm willing to stay up....
  20. This morning I would have picked Violet Hill, but right now, at midnight, Viva La Vida is just amazing.
  21. Just one thing I noticed, I'm not sure about the first chorus, but in the second and third, he says, "Roman Catholic", not "Roman Cavalry".
