  1. Ok I will repeat, I feel like I`m the granny on the board, being(gulp) forty something(shhhh)... I love raw emotion in my music....singers who can make me feel their pain. Chris is amazing at this. Ala freddie Mercury,...Steven Tyler, Rob Thomas...among others. Chris excels IMO. As I tear up, I also bow down.
  2.:angry::angry: CHRIS WAS NOT JOKING!

  9. I hope you are kidding! Coldplay have helped to pull alot of people up from the depths of their pain...i myself am currently battling cancer with chemo, and just hoping to get the strength back in time for the July 10 concert,...in the very least, not kick the bucket before they come so I can read the reviews!
  10. maybe, IMO, the true star will really be Phil, the 5th member, for pulling these guys together enough to sit down and create with a new vision, and a new sense of togetherness and comraderie(<<need spellchecker help here) I think they are all equally shining a bit better this go around.
  11. Hello and welcome, Sean ! nice bunch of nutters here to mix with:lol:
  12. I lurked on here during X & Y, popping in from the official forum site , during the craziness that broke out then. I never was, nor still am I nonstop-poster, as I just dont have time to try to keep up! So many threads are dizzying for me! I am self taught on even using a computer, never learned to type( i peck words like a chicken!). Guess I`m old enough now to not feel I need to be posting on every passing fling of a thread that comes along. But ,wow! I enjoy the people on this board...the "band of brothers we are" feeling that comes from this group, oldie or newbie. I also am learning so much from the lot of you regarding my computer, multimedia, etc. And I would love to meet Ian someday. Sorry, Tracie, for going on about nothing yet off topic. Just thanks to all here, be it full time residents/ or the odd lurkers...(and there are many!:laugh3:) for being a welcoming lot...it`s a fun place to be to share our passion for the same music..
  13. Thanks for even more enlightenment:cool:
  14. I went ahead and signed up for the reward program/ after not being able to get a presale code either. Got the plastic member card in the mail yesterday, dunno if it`ll make me eligible for any more presales??? If it does, I would loan it out/ I never shop there anyway:P
  15. I do remember in an interview it described the upstairs as being quite LARGE. And in a different interview, Gwyneth describing living near gardens as well, with a rural feeling right inside of London.... But as most know, their house was bought/ previously owned by Kate Winslet, so may be easier to locate an address through her name:thinking:???
