Diabetes
My grandfather, two uncles and cousins on my mother's side of the family have it. They've had it for a while too. I'm not really sure how they keep it under control, but even so they put themselves at high risk by eating unhealthy and also drinking too

How good is The King of Limbs (a month later...)
The album itself is very short and doesn't flow well or have really much of a theme to me. I still feel the album is split into 2 parts. The first part is jazzy electronica (Bloom-Lotus Flower), and then the 2nd part is just completely different and goes for an acoustic or stripped down sound. I mean I guess of course it's officially an album, but it doesn't feel full. Like I don't know about you but most albums that I've listened to tend to feel complete, but this one doesn't. Of course part of this frustration has to do with me feeling it's some of their weakest work, and also that 3.5 years after IR we just get an 8 song album. To be honest I think I might like the song These Are My Twisted Words more than all of TKOL. edit: also who voted this album to be their 2nd best? I'm really interested to see why or how they think that

How good is The King of Limbs (a month later...)
haha I like those songs, but they haven't really blown me away, though I still find them enjoyable. I actually tried finding the songs on itunes or four tet's site but nothing yet. where does this album rank for the rest of you, if you had to make a list

How good is The King of Limbs (a month later...)
haha yeah. I mean I still enjoy the songs but it's definitely not as strong as their other albums and also I feel that this album doesn't really have any standout songs. Lotus Flower comes closest. Also though I've been able ot hear more input from the other members as I listen more closely to the album it still feels like a Thom solo effort. If it was released under his name I'd enjoy it, but being under the title of Radiohead the bar is raised much higher and also it makes me expect more input from the other members. edit: you guys mentioned 5th place... so where does that rank to the others?

How good is The King of Limbs (a month later...)
So it's been a month since TKOL has been released, which I guess seems like a good amount of time for people to digest the album. So where would you rank this album as of now compared to the rest of their catalog? For me it'd be: In Rainbows Kid A/OK Computer HTTT The Bends Amnesiac TKOL Pablo Honey

Listening Party
also looking from what Jules posted and also greg posted I think it'd be a really great and cool idea to try and make playlists of the LP's. That way people can listen after if they can't make it.

Languages
I voted Chinese because like you said I is a smart people :P But I guess I figured since they are a big country economically that their language will be useful to learn. But of all of them I'd go with French. I like how they speak, and also would love to travel to France and also learn how to speak it some day
