  1. yeah I agree. I think the way the last season ended was perfect. However there are still a lot of unanswered questions, and after all the buildup Hank has to know what Walter has been up to. hmm... maybe they will start filming this month, and then will be ready by the summer?
  2. all up to date now! holy crap! those last few episodes of season 4 were incredible! I love this show!
  3. Breaking Bad... finished Season 4... holy crap! it was amazing! One of the best shows I've seen!
  4. When the government turns on the people, the people will turn right back on them.
  5. 17? pfft... what's wrong with you people!
  6. I wasn't a huge fan of the song, but his live shows were great! I just made another post on Caveman's song December 28th: http://opentracks.wordpress.com/2012/01/28/song-of-the-week-december-28th-caveman/
  7. Thanks! Just posted a review for Andrew Bird's song "Eyeoneye" http://opentracks.wordpress.com/2012/01/27/eyeoneye-andrew-bird/
  8. oh ok... I'll have to do the same. or I might just hold off, and wait until East Coast dates go on sale/announced (which I imagine to be soon)

  10. Hi Everyone! As you all know I was trying to figure out a name for my blog and I finally did and I started one. So I wanted to promote it a little bit and have some people follow if they would like! Main Blog Website: http://opentracks.wordpress.com/ Tumblr: http://opentracks.tumblr.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/OpenTracks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OpenTracks Also if the mods can move this to the WoM in a few days that'd be great... I just wanted to get it in the lounge since people read it more
  11. Supercollider is good. but not as good as the butcher
  12. I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to get this done. I've been busy. Track 1: Mixtape starts with some backwards vocals and weird electronic noises. The keyboards sounds good in this along with the drums. The vocals harmonies are nice, but I'm not sure how much I like them going along with the music. The song overall is fun. Track 2: This sounds like the same artist as from the previous song. I'm not sure if these songs are both on the same album, but the flow from the previous song worked pretty well. I think this song better than the other one. The harmonies are really good and the overal arrangement is good to. The song then turns into something different. The song initially sounded very clean and soft, but then some distortion comes in which makes the song almost turn into like a nightmare. The song then really slows down. Very interesting overall arrangement of the song. Track 3: The song starts off witha mandolin/ukulele sounding instrument. I can already tell who this is. This is Beirut. The vocals are very recognizable as well as the use of an accordian. I'm not a huge fan of the band to be honest, but this is a good song. Track 4: The song starts off very slow with a nice orchestral arrangement. This soon ends and you hear an acoustic classical guitar with a female vocalist. Her voice sounds a little familiar. The song then soon picks up in tempo with drums and a song that once was really slow is now very upbeat. Track 5: The song starts up with vocals, guitar and clapping. The vocals do sound familiar. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals though. Not a huge fan of the song to be honest. Though when the piano comes in I like the song much more. Track 6: The song opens with really airy vocals and acoustic guitar. It's a very spacey sounding song. The song then really picks up with the drums. I like this song Track 7: The song starts with electronic sounding beats, followed by some electric guitar after. The vocals are a bit different, but I like the overall stripped down sound. Track 8: The song opens with electric piano and some electronic sounding beats initially. The vocals start off and are airy. I really like this song so far, This one would definitely be my favorite so far. The overall arrangement and vocals are really good. I'm interested to know who this is. Track 9: Song starts off with vocals and guitar. I really like this overall arrangement of songs. I want to say it's Bon Iver because it sounds similar, however I haven't listened to enough Bon Iver to say, but it's close. This is a really good song overall! The song then really changes This sounds like Fleet Foxes. I feel I've heard this song before. Track 10: The song starts with some really good harmonies and piano. I like this song quite a bit. Overall I really enjoyed tis song Track 11: The song starts off with some weird sounds an piano. I really like the sound of this song a lot. The vocals work really well with the song. I really like this song a lot. Extremely well written. I just wish the vocals were louder in the mix. This is a really great song! It might be my favorite off this mix. Track 12: The last song of the mix. It starts with an electric piano and some distorted and distant vocals. I really like this song a lot. The overall arrangement is great! This may be my favorite song off the mix, I'm not sure. Overall I'm not a huge fan of the mix. There were a few songs that I really enjoyed (songs 8, 11, and 12). But overall I guess I'm not too much of a fan anymore of more folky songs which I felt the mix mostly consisted of. But it was still good to listen to songs I haven't heard before.
  13. It's There There. It says so on the cover of the vinyl.
  14. also someone posted these on atease: not sure how true or not they are but it fits since the band has more than a 2 month gap of no shows.
  15. I'm so sorry to whoever is waiting for me to review my mixtape. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to get to it. Hopefully within the next few days
  16. don't feel stupid! It was just funny! Welcome to the thread! :) ahahaha! well I was a noob at one time...
  17. I went to Zuccotti Park again today (where occupy wall street started). They took down the barriers, and I didn't see anyone with signs. I know it's winter, but it was a bit depressing as to how dead it was there.
  18. getting to hang out w/ Lore and seeing Rich Aucoin live which may have been one of the most fun concerts I've ever gone to.
  19. Those are good points as to why. I mean if you're trying to help either save the ship or buy more time to save people it makes sense the strongest should be around to help since they'd be more able haha! I didn't even think about it. If I did I would've posted it :P
  20. :awesome: And hopefully in a year from now you will have seen like like 5 times too! :D
  21. I think it probably is outdated in some sense. I think the children aspect should still be in effect in that children should always be saved first. But in the end I guess it doesn't fully make sense why based on gender people should have more or less chance of surviving. On a similar note it's like if the draft was reinstated. I think that everyone should be made eligible, because it doesn't seem very fair that just based on gender that some people are exempt especially since a lot of people want more equality.
  22. In Radios
  23. Need to carry this on... I just listened to CoCo Beware by Cavemen... really good album!
